    Easy to Install and Use
The tray completed my desk in an armoire. It slides out and stores easily. The mouse tray is the right size.

    Works great
I bought an old farm table to use as my computer desk. The table is great as a desk, but I needed this drawer to give me a better working height for keying. It’s perfect – sturdy, slides easy, was easy to install, and looks nice. There is plenty of room for the mouse. The mouse tray is slightly lower than the keyboard. It seems to me to be it the right location.Everything being said, I’ve used this drawer for over a month and am very glad I did. Thanks to all who reviewed it previously to me. That helped me to make the decision to buy this drawer.

This product is not an easy install!
The quality of this tray is excellent but the install is a nightmare. I have a counter top that is mounted to my walls, so to attach this tray has to be done while lying on the floor and working above your head. The other issue is the tray has to be fully assembled, prior to be attached to the desk. That adds weight and makes it harder to manage. You need 2 people to do this job!It would be much easier if you could mount just the brackets, and then slide the tray in place at the end.As I mentioned the quality of the tray is very good. It’s solid and seems strong. It slides easily on the ball bearing rails, and the mouse pad pull out seems strong. The height of the tray is adjustable, depending on the clearance you need for your keyboard. It has 3 height adjustments. Once installed the tray looks great and works well!Keep in mind the assembly! You’ll need two people; you should mark and pre-drill the holes for the screws; and you WILL be working over your head, while lying on your back. I only recommend this tray if you are a DYI’er and you can deal with laying flat on a floor.

Sturdy, Easy-as-Pie to Install, Keyboard Drawer – No Screws Needed!
I have had terrible luck with the type of keyboard drawers that need screwed into the bottom of a desk. The screws loosen over time and let’s be honest – I’m not very easy on things. So every couple years I was having to get a new one, and screw/drill yet more holes under my desk. Then I found this Mount-It! keyboard drawer that didn’t need screws at all! I wasn’t sure what to think, but figured it was worth a try. It took literally 3 minutes to install and voila – I had a sturdy keyboard drawer! It has a rounded edge which is really comfortable for resting your wrists and there is also plenty of room for a mouse. I’ve been using it for almost 2 months now and it shows no signs of loosening. Best of all, it might be the last keyboard drawer I ever have to buy! One caveat: the drawer is rather wide – the space from clamp to clamp is at least 31 inches – so make sure to measure the space you have before ordering. Otherwise I know you will love it!

Great drawer for retro computers also; measure it; some install tips
LIKED:* Smooth draw mechanisms* ample keyboard area. WAY more width than a numeric keyboard would need.* Brackets are adjustable.* The back has only a small lip, enough to hold a keyboard in place… but not so big that you could not go oversized on something..* TIP: 99+% of folks won’t need to, but you can hack this by getting different sized screws (go to your Hardware store). You can also make this “taller” by installing it onto thin wood strips that you then mount under the desk. (I’m using one to house an ancient Atari 800 computer which is like 5 inches high),DISLIKE:* Installation can be difficult — if so, STOP and try to be creative..*… you need to measure precisely in order to install the brackets to the desk first. This is not easy unless you can flip the desk.* …I took a different way and mounted the brackets to the shelf, then penciled in the holes and drilled. Even so it was difficult to “start” the screws threading into my desk, but not the product’s fault (my desk was heavy MDF/counter).*.. if I had to do it again I would use two 5/8″ strips of wood, mount this to the strips, then have someone hold it in place and just drill the strips into the desk.* It is plenty sturdy for the intended purposes, but if you use for an off-label purpose like I did, be aware it won’t stand a lot of abuse or weight. There’s nothing about this product that could improve the install… 99% of the complaints are because it’s hard to mount such things to furniture. Be patient, and get a helper.

    Frustrating installation
Bought this to save some money and regretted it. The set up and preparation take a very long time. And it becomes clearly obvious that if you dont have the right tools to install it, you are out of luck. If you managed to prepare it and set up to install it to the desk of your choice, it becomes clear that you will need a helping hand. Its big and its got enough weight to make you realize that you will need to have someone hold it for you in place so you can screw in the many screws into the desk. Your other option, if at all possible, is to flip your desk upside down to screw it in. And again this becomes a, if you dont have the right tools, you will be out of luck. You will need to pre drill holes and hope you have a long enough screw bit otherwise you wont be able to put in the screws properly. I spent 2 frustrating hours trying to install it. And in the end, it was missing a screw. I disassembled it and returned it. Will never try to save money when it comes to this area again.
