Sunshine on a Rainy Day –
Best chair I’ve ever had
This chair might be a little pricey, but it’s oh so worth it! This is the most comfortable desk chair I’ve ever experienced. Great back support. I love that it swivels and rocks a little for my restless self. Easy to assemble. Easy to adjust. Feels strong and sturdy.

I didn’t like that. The pieces weren’t in much protected covering …
This is my initial review of the Ignition 2.0.Packaging:When I got the package, it was light, but not very well packed. The parts (screw bag and instructions) were stapled to the bottom of the seat cushion, I didn’t like that. The pieces weren’t in much protected covering to avoid scratches. Please note, this chair does NOT come with the tools needed to assemble it.Assembly:The assembly was actually surprisingly easy. There’s a lot of snap on parts, which I’m indifferent about. The gearbox on the bottom of the seat comes preinstalled, that was pretty nice. The instructions are pretty plain and simple. The hardest part of the assembly is getting the back chair piece connected to the bottom, which is the only thing you have to bolt in. The bolts are however kind of cheap, they shread easily, so make sure you’re using the right tools. Both arms snap in place.Functionality:The best feature (for me) in this chair is it’s ability to recline. I’m coming off other high-end gaming chairs (dxracer, x rockers ect), and they don’t quite have the ability to lean back in a comfortable way. The mechanism on this chair allows for full range of motion in recline as well as a lock, in-case you’re not like me, and like to stay still. Even then it has the ability to lean back with the chair. The added functionality of leaning back comes at a fault, however. When you lean back the chair comes up with you, giving those with less fortunate leg room to feel cramped or squished under the desk. I don’t have this problem, because I have a high desk, but I can see it being a problem with other people. This chair has a back adjusting (as opposed to a seat adjusting) mechanism which allows you to bring the seat back and forth, I prefer it this way, but some people might prefer the seat adjusting. If you’re wondering what the difference is, the seat adjusting changes the placement of your chair arms as well as your seat, whereas the back adjust, just brings the back forward or back. Everything on this chair is spring loaded, which is pretty standard.Comfortability:The lumbar support could be better, but it works as well as any $300 chair would. If you’re looking for top the line support, I’d suggest getting a 1,000$+ chair. Optionally, you could just push the lumbar support all the way down if it really bothers you. It’s not “bad” it’s just not perfect, which is something you shouldn’t be looking for in a $300 chair anyways. The seat is soft, and fits really well, however the material is easy to catch on things. The arms have a hard cushion which is nice, I like them. The netting on the back is very supportive, but as you can probably tell, it does not have a head rest. For me that’s fine, for others it might be a problem. The seat moves around flawlessly on carpet and hardwood (tested on both). The chair legs are hard and have some rough corners on them. They actually stick out farther than the wheels, which kind of bother me, because I’ll often hit the back of my heel on them. They don’t have any support, so putting your feet on them, which I and many others like to do, is not really a viable option for those who like to go barefoot/socks while they work.Price:The price is pretty good for this type of chair. There are some minor things I would change, but all in all, this is a mesh chair, and mesh chairs are expensive.

Exactly what I wanted
I’ve had this chair for about a year now. I was looking for something that was sturdy, comfortable, supportive, and fairly ergonomic — but at a good price. The Ignition hit every single checkbox.

Well-built, but terribly uncomfortable
I sold mine on Craigslist for $100. Happy to not have to look at it anymore – a reminder of how much money I wasted on it.I tried to like it. I gave it every chance. I made excuses for this thing like I was in an abusive relationship. And in many ways, I was. For 3 months I was telling myself I can simply get used to it, that it wasn’t so bad, and that I was happy and thriving.Today, with a months-long sore back, I finally admitted that it’s trash and bought a new one. The seller has refused a refund because I wasted too much time being in denial about it. I think they call it the “Ignition” because it makes you want to burn it.Review:I am 6’0″, 185 lbs, 33 years old and have never had back problemsThis chair is sturdy and made with solid materials and it looks nice. I have no doubt it will last many many years of daily use. *Unfortunately* it’s tragically uncomfortable to sit in, rendering it essentially worthless.-The recline tensioner is too stiff to lean back in it easily, even at the lowest setting-The lumbar support actually *hurts* your back by jutting into it. I removed it entirely which helped a little but now there’s no lumbar support-The seatbottom is not long enough and falls several inches short of my knees even when I sit all the way at the back of the chair. I would like my entire thigh to have something under it and this chair just doesn’t offer that. I know this sounds like a petty complaint but it really is obscene sitting on this. It’s like a jump seat on an aircraft. It’s enough to support you, but only your butt, not your legs.-On top of that, the seat is a little slippery, so you’re always sliding ever FARTHER down the seat, especially when you exert the MONUMENTAL force needed to lean back in this chair-The backrest stops well below the shoulders. I knew this chair didn’t have a headrest but I expected to at least be able to lean back and have my neck rest on something. Nope. You can’t relax in this thing. It’s the type of chair an office building would buy to make sure its workers don’t enjoy even one second of being at work. Can’t have employees being comfortable or they might doze off! A little bit of pain keeps you alert after all! There are much better office chairs out there for this price. Skip this one.

Comfortable, but it takes a day to get used to
I read many great reviews for this product, and it was highly recommended by another external consumer review site. The chair came in a HUGE box that was bulky and heavy to move about, but I could slide it into my house from the outside. The instructions for assembly were very easy to follow, and it took me less than 30 minutes to assemble. Admittedly, when I first sat in the chair, I thought it was uncomfortable, and I was pretty disappointed. All of the reviews had stated how supportive it was, so I was surprised that it didn’t seem like it would be a great chair. That being said, it would have taken too much effort to box it back up, so I decided to keep it, and I am glad I did! It took a few days to “break-in,” but now I love it. It is a very supportive chair, but it is now super comfortable as well. A great purchase!

La esponja del asiento se empezó a salir por qué las costuras del tapizado se rompieron. La silla no tuvo ningún uso rudo. Muy mala calidad para el precio.

This was probably the worst install experience I’ve ever had with a chair. Typically, installing the wheels are the finishing touch and satisfying ending to the chair install but this was not the case. Not only did the wheels did forever to get pushed in, all of the wheels Fitment was not perfect. Every single one of these wheels are off by .mm from one another . Other cheap chairs I have used in the past just push click done, this one I had to use full force/nudging/twisting everythingI’m so disappointed considering this was over $7xx dollars.

One of the most terrible chair that you can get. Gave me back pain within 2 hours. Lombar support is a simple plastic plate. Way to expensive for what it is.
