easy to assemble and scratch resistant. i put a lot of nick nacks and trinkets as well as books and its a decent size to hold a lot, its built pretty stong and sturdy but doesnt look bulky. looks nice with books or plants. great purchase and worth the money

Great minimalist shelving!
This is the second of these shelves I’ve bought and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another! They’re very minimalistic, but provide a great amount of shelving space. The assembly was a little time consuming, but not unreasonably so and the directions are super simple to follow and clear. I didn’t have any issue with holes or parts whatsoever and the shelves are very sturdy and stable for being a simple metal and board makeup. I like how their open design doesn’t feel like they take up as much space as a standard bookshelf, yet they hold the same amount of items! Very functional and definitely worth the price point, which is also great because they do go on sale from time to time! Just buy them!

Decent once assembled
I put together a lot of furniture like this; directions were a little tough to follow and images were often obscured by text. Had a good chunk of it backwards and had to take the bottom apart before continuing. Hopefully you have a power drill because manually screwing in the wood to the frame would be almost impossibleNot as easy to tip over as I thought, quite sturdy. Holds a lot of weight too. Filled it with my books and looks great. Happy with it, might purchase some more when on sale again.

I was looking for a shelf for my living room and the color matches my other tables perfectly. Instructions were very easy to follow, slide the poles together, slide in screw, tighten with the Allen wrench (included). Pieces were clearly labeled, took about 45 minutes. This shelf is pretty sturdy, very impressed with the quality. Has a slant to it as the shelves get wider toward the bottom, nothing crazy but perfect for larger items (like large books) on the bottom. Great price, great quality. Highly recommend!

Sturdy and versatile
Great shelf. I was afraid it was going to be a little wobbly and not sturdy enough but I was wrong. It’s been holding heavy books, photo frames, and other decor items for a couple of years now. And the color is nice and neutral.

I read a lot of the customer reviews before buying this. I can agree that many of the negative reviews are quite right. Sadly after spending hours, actually days researching options, this seemed the least worrying. But having assembled it, I have regrets buying it.The metal square pipes don’t meet flush, I had to bend one angled piece into place with some force to make it assemble, the particle board is thin and flimsy. With not even half a shelf full they’re already slagging to a concerning degree.It does look cheaper in reality than in the photos. At $157 SGD it is well in my opinion. At the time of writing this review, It seems to have been reduced a bit but still too expensive for the low quality. Perhaps at half the price it would match the quality and sturdyness it’s been manufactured to.At the time I purchased it, the listing here on Amazon stated that the shelves could hold between approx 15-35 kg each, from top to bottom. But upon opening the packaging, the instruction sheet inside warned not to load any of the shelves with more than 10kg per shelf! In essence you can put a couple of large books on a shelf and perhaps a plastic pot replete with a matching plastic plant.In my opinion that makes the listing quite deceptive. If the ad had stayed that it was that weak I would not have bought it.Amazon/Seller, please correct the misinformation in the listing.

I wanted a set of shelves so I could tidy up my home office, and saw this set. I put this together, put it in the corner where I had planned, and it is exactly what I was looking for, leaving me less cluttered and freer from unnecessary stuff on my desk, making my life much better. It is sturdy, easy to put together, and in my view, value for money.
Sadly this door did not last very long, and it was not very programable! –
Looks great for a cheap item 🙂 was easy to assemble. Some of the bars were a tad wonky but I straightened them out, you can’t tell.
