You have to drill drainage holes on the bottom. Just a 30 second task. These planters are sturdy and should last for years.

Exactly what I wanted
These pots are exaclty what I wanted. They are nice looking, lightweight but be prepared to use a lot of potting soil. I got a saucers and put it inside which dropped down about half way. I drilled holes in the saucer so the water would run through and now it acts like a reservoir and I use half the soil. As for a good buy. Is anything a good buy any more what with the rising costs.
