Very sturdy
I abought a keyboard tray five years ago by this same brand, but it was a plastic tray with plastic slides. I used my computer two-three hours a day every day, so it got a lot of use, and recently one of the slides cracked, making the tray even more wobbly than it already was. This new one, made of particle board and metal, is much sturdier and very stable. It was easier to assemble and install, and it makes my typing much easier, since the keyboard doesn’t bounce around any more. I agree with other reviewers that the ends of the metal slides could be finished better, as they tend to be rough and protrude slightly from the tray. I used a metal file to smooth mine down before I installed it.

This keyboard tray fits great under my desk and places my mouse and keyboard at just the right height for comfortable use.Initially, I was disappointed that it didn’t seem to have detents to hold the tray in place when either pushed in or pulled completely out. However, I finally figured out that I only had to give a little extra push (or pull) at either extreme to lock the tray in place. I was VERY happy to finally figured that out.Overall, a very solid product with the features I was looking for. Recommended.

Decent enough keyboard tray just watch the edges!
The keyboard tray was the perfect price and I am enjoying it, however, there are some takeaways. The most important part is that it functions. It was easy enough to assemble, but I’d recommend laying out all the parts and make sure everything is accounted for before beginning the assembly. I love how spacious the tray is and fits a full-sized keyboard and mouse with room to spare.Now on to some takeaways. The biggest issue for me is that the tray roller edges are not beveled and there is zero protection from getting scratched or even damaging your office chair. You can see in the pictures how sharp the edges are and can also see some of the damage that they caused when I’d get up from my chair and it would just barely catch the tray’s edge. The tray slides out just far enough. I had to remove my wrist rest to have full access to my keyboard. The alternative that I have found that enables me to use my wrist rest is to loosen up the mounts and slide them out a bit and retighten. It does compromise the support a bit and it doesn’t feel as secure but I could live with it, I suppose. Overall, I don’t regret my purchase, it’s just good enough and the price was right.
