WallarGe Atomic Clock

About RCC Atomic Clock.
As Radio Controlled atomic clock, it can receive the time signal transmitted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), which is regulated by 3 atomic clocks and deviates less than 1 second within 3,000 years. The NIST broadcasts the time signal (WWVB,60KHz) continuously from Fort Collins, Colorado. This signal can be received anywhere in the continental USA and Canada that long wave (AM) radio reception is possible with a portable radio. It is expected that the signal can reach a distance of over 2,000 miles from the transmitter.
Therefore, your clock will receive the signal within the broadcast range anywhere an AM signal can be received; generally, the time signal cannot be picked up in massive metal and concrete structures unless near a window. In addition, some environmental effects (see below) may affect the transmitting distance and reception. For more information, please refer to the WWVB web page of NIST.

Self-setting Every Midnight.
This digital wall clock will automatically receive the time signal every day at midnight and makes any required adjustments to the time setting. That is to say, it updates the time every night automatically, so it is more accurate than any other ordinary electronic clock. Therefore, it is very suitable for those friends who have high requirements for time accuracy.
Note 1: Frequent use of this feature may affect battery life.
Note 2: After 48 hours, if the clock hasn’t received the signal, or if you have any problems or do not understand any parts of these instructions please write to us freely.
Note 3: If the RCC time signal is not received successfully and the time automatic setting fails, you can also cancel the radio reception and set the time manually.

About Outdoor and Indoor Temperature Monitor.
This digital clock’s indoor temperature monitoring relies on a built-in Swiss high precision SHTC3 indoor temperature sensor, and its outdoor temperature monitoring is mainly through the radio frequency (RF) transmitter to collect the outdoor temperature and then send the temperature information to the receiver, and finally display the temperature on the clock. The maximum receiving distance of outdoor temperature is 330ft.

Temperature Detection Range.
1.Operating temperature is from -40℉ to 158℉ (-40℃ to 70℃)
2. The indoor temperature display range is 32℉ to 122℉(0℃ to 50℃). Indoor temperature is measured once every 10 seconds.
3. The outdoor temperature display range is -40℉to 158℉ (-40 ℃to 70℃).The outdoor transmitter temperature is measured once every 10 seconds
but transmit RF signal every 32 seconds.
4.Temperature accuracy +/- 0.1℉(+/- 0.1℃)

Who Needs Atomic Clocks More?
This is an atomic alarm clock for anyone. However, since atomic clock will automatically receive the time signal every day at midnight and makes any required adjustments to the time setting. So it is more accurate than any other ordinary electronic clock. Therefore, it is very suitable for those industries and friends who have high requirements for time accuracy, such as scientists, stock traders, doctors, nurses, teachers, lawyers, etc.
Tip: Since in the self-setting (RCC)mode, the clock will automatically turn on to receive radio signals every night, so the battery may consume quickly,
or sometimes in extreme weather or weak signal or other disturbances appear nearby, the clock may also appear to receive the wrong time signal instruction. Therefore,it is suggested to use self-setting (RCC) function reasonably, such as turning on RCC function once every week or according to your own requirements for time accuracy.

What Should I Pay Attention to When Using WWVB Features?
1. Make sure that your location can successfully receive the time signal.
2. Put the clock in an open area or near a window with good signal.
3. Don’t put the clock with iron household items.
4.The clock’s default auto daylight saving time is on, time format is 12 hour, and the time zone is eastern time zone.If you need to change these default settings, you need to set them before the clock starts searching for RCC time signal.

Good purchase – updated Oct 2024
Oct 2024 Update: The new clock the company sent me appears to be working a lot better than the one I originally got so I have increased the stars to 5. It is not completely glitch free but we haven’t had anywhere near as many problems with it as we did with the first one AND the glitches are no worse than what we had with our 2 previous atomic clocks made by other companies. I now believe the first one was probably just a defective clock and this one is more representative of the clocks quality. As stated below this company reached out to me after reading my review and replaced the clock that was no longer eligible for return due to the time that had passed. That says to me they stand behind their product making this clock worth purchasing.March 2024 Update: The company contacted me after reading my review in an effort to try & resolve the problem. After their suggested fixes didn’t work, they offered to send me a new clock, free of charge, in the hope that the first one was just defective. It is so rare anymore to find a company that actually tries to make sure their customer is happy. I will come back & update this review again once we have the new clock and have given it a few months to make sure it works properly.Love the look of this clock, love how big the numbers are and how easy it is to read everything even at a distance. With that said, all that is great as long as the clock keeps the correct information on its display. This is not our first Atomic clock, it is our 3rd, but it is the first one that has had this issue. We hung it in the exact same place the others were hung. However this one, on several occasions, has jumped ahead to a different date and time when it did its updating. Unfortunately, the first time it happened we thought it was a one time thing and that it would be fine but it has done it several times now, of course well after the return date has expired. While it is a relatively easy fix, you just have to move it to a window and leave it there until it corrects itself, you shouldn’t have to do that at all, at least not multiple times. Since we can’t return it we will live with it for now but I will not buy this brand again and I would never give it to someone as a gift. Our previous clock was a Panasonic and we will probably go back to one of them when we decide we have had enough of this one and its issue.

Present for my dad
The atomic clock is excellent if you want precise, automatic timekeeping without ever needing to reset it. It automatically syncs to the correct time (including daylight saving adjustments), which is perfect for busy households or offices. The display is clear and easy to read — whether on a wall or a desk — and many models offer extra features like date, temperature, and alarm settings. I also appreciate how low‑maintenance it is: once it’s set up, it just keeps accurate time on its own. If you want a hassle-free, reliable clock that you don’t have to think about, an atomic clock is a great investment.

WallerGE Atomic Wall Clock is Perfect
I received this WallerGE Atomic Wall clock today, the large size. It’s beautiful and it works great now. But there was a glitch when I first set it up. Oh, it was easy to set up with the set up buttons on the back. The clock linked to the atomic clock fast, everything was set, time, date, indoor temperature all worked. But I taped the outdoor temperature sensor to the wall with a double sided adhesive tape, about six feet from the clock, after putting in the batteries, and it didn’t register on the clock. I waited all day, and it didn’t register. So then I looked at the WallerGE website, and for a similar clock they mention if the outdoor temperature sensor doesn’t register, then replace the batteries. I had put in new batteries, but I tried what they recommended. I put the outdoor sensor right next to the clock. And within a minute the outdoor temperature sensor registered. Then I moved the outdoor temperature sensor back on the wall outside, and the clock still registered the outdoor temperature. So there is a minor glitch in the product. But now it works great. And it was a simple fix. The batteries that I replaced weren’t bad. But it probably just needed a hard reboot, and then it works. I had to reset the time and date. It’s a beautiful looking clock, just the right size for my bedroom. It’s actually perfect. With a little light, the clock readings are easy to see from twenty feet away. But when I turn out the lights, I don’t see anything, and I don’t want any lights when I’m going to sleep.

Easy set-up!
Awesome clock! Set itself to the right time & zone within 10 minutes! I have never had such an easy atomic clock! It had directions! The back/buttons are easy to read. Lots of white space & bright. It even came with screws for wall mount & a pattern to drill the holes! It’s a little smaller than I thought it would be, but I must have misread the measurements.

Aside from being practical, this clock really looks nice. I’m using it as a wall clock and it complements the room. The display is easy to read. It has a wide angle of view, you can even read it from the side. The smaller font date and temperature are even readable from 20 feet. Even in dim light, everything is readable. Upon installing the batteries, within 5 minutes, it synced with the atomic clock. It’s within 1 second with my phone clock. The signal is strong and constant. I live in Toronto, Canada, and the clock is located in the basement and also far from the window. The indoor and outdoor temperature sensors are consistent with each other when placed close. The difference is no more than 0.5 degrees. I haven’t installed the sensor outside as of this writing. I like that this clock runs on batteries, so no cord that ruins the look. Not to mention that it has low battery warning, for both the clock and the outdoor sensor. The manual is clear and comprehensive. I’m happy I chose this atomic clock among so many. It’s definitely 5 stars .. so far.UPDATE:To those who are not getting accurate temperature from the outdoor sensor — it’s location, location, location! Read on …So, I’ve installed the sensor outside. I stuck it horizontally under the upper member of the window frame to protect it from the elements. I observed the readings for days. I found that the reading is higher than the actual temperature (based on Weather.com). If the temperature is above freezing, the difference is 2-3 degree C. If it’s below that, it gets worse. I was very disappointed, and I wanted to change my rating from 5 to 3 stars. But I thought, maybe it’s because of its proximity to the window (which is normally warmer since it’s heated by interior of the house), and to the ground (since it’s a basement window). So, instead, I hung it on the wire fence, which is 4 feet away from the window (not too far to get good reception) and 4 feet above the ground. And voila, I’m getting the right temperature now ! Or at least, within 0.5 degrees C. Since now it’s exposed to the elements, I put tape on all gaps, except for the sensor opening, over which I put a hood. I’m still getting the right temperature. It will get only little sun since it’s located in the narrow gap between houses. Still, I will observe the effect during high noon. So, I’m keeping the 5 stars. I hope others will learn from this.

I purchased this clock (CL6006) in July of 2025. The clock works great. I am very happy with its performance. My issue lies with the outdoor sensor which sends the outdoor temperature to the clock. I live in Ontario, Canada, and our temperatures very from quite warm to extremely cold. During the warmer months, the sensor works just fine, but in the colder months, the sensor stops working. The batteries are good, and when I bring it in the house and let it warm up, it starts to work again. Once I put it back outside, it stops working again. I would like to know how I can obtain a replacement sensor.
