Great Alternative to Wall Mounting TV
Turned out to be the perfect solution to allow me to mount a new 50 inch Samsung TV (~20 lbs) flush with the frame in my display cabinet. Although the monitor arm VESA plate was 100 x 100 mm and the TV required a 200 x 200 mm VESA mount, I was able to workaround this with a separately purchased VESA mount adapter plate. Beefy construction and easy to understand instructions.

Great monitor arm
I’m not using this for a traditional monitor. I have a 48” LG C5 Oled TV mounted on this arm and it works flawlessly.I was having trouble finding a desk-clamp mounted solution and went through several other brands before landing on the Montek.The ease of use of mounting the TV to this arm was quite surprising. Even more surprising was how easy it was to adjust the arm itself.10/10 would recommend for those that use the LG 42” and 48” OLED TVs as computer monitors.

Great arm. Base has small footprint. Very sturdy. May get another.
Great sturdy arm. Doesn’t feel cheap but also doesn’t feel like an expensive product. Don’t know how to explain it but it’s just perfect. LG C2 48in mounted on it and the arm is straight beast. A bit hard getting the TV on the vesa mount by yourself do be careful. There was technique. Get TV on vesa plate, lay flat on its back while it rests on body of arm, insert the lock screws. Not too sure about the design but will have to check the instructions again because after all was done, I decided that I wanted to move the arm a lil more to the right of my desk and it seems that I may literally have to take the whole arm apart cuz I will need to access the screw that has been swallowed by the body of the arm. Also could use a better grommet installation but ahh well!!

Quality stand
I have this mounted on a desk in a van used as a mobile office with a 32” monitor. It is sturdy.

Works for Odyssey Ark 2
I’m using this for my Odyssey Ark 2 and it’s holding up fine. It does wobble a little but I think that’s more to do with my desk’s stability than the monitor arm… It actually wobbles less on the arm than it did on the stand and that stand was solid!

Great Heavy Duty Monitor Arm
This is a very heavy duty monitor arm. Held my 49 inch monitor with no problem. I installed it in a fiberglass table and I had to put a metal wedge in the front of it, to get it to level. This was a problem with my table and not the monitor arm. Overall very satisfied with this product. It worked great out of the box and was easy to set up.

So unsafe! Defective?
Was this defective? out the box it just looks beautiful and look like it would be perfect, but when it was time to assemble, we noticed The hole was too big!! Either that, or the screw was too small and short, and therefore will not be able to uphold a monitor, it would be unsafe. I was so appalled. I will never trust with something again.

Some assembly required*
By far the most complicated assembly on a monitor I’ve ever experienced of the 7 or so I’ve bought throughout the years. Moving the clamped spot is gonng to require removing the monitor/arms to get at the screw to loosen the clamp. And it also was missing the m4 screwed needed to attach the backplate to the monitor.Will report back once I purchased the m4 screws at the hardware store. At this point I can’t even use it.
