Simple and Perfect
I built myself a wall standing “desk” but I got a saddle stool to sit at it sometimes, so the desk was too high for ergonomic typing and my mouse when I sit, so I got this under mount keyboard/mouse pull out. It is wonderful and so easy to put together! Literally 3 steps. You just need someone to hold it underneath the desk so you can mark where to drill little pilot holes under the desk, then have them hold it again while you screw it in. I decided on this style because I wanted it to last a long time, unlike those with a mount down the center that have a multitude of positions you can adjust it, I heard those don’t stay where you position them over time. This one is sturdy and is not going anywhere! It drops about 3” from the top of the desk which is perfect for me, but I read some people put nuts between the desk and brackets then use longer screws if they want more depth, I’m sure a strip of wood would work too. If you keep it as is and use the screws that came with it they are perfect length, they did not go through the top of my desk which is not that thick (see video). It slides in flush with my desk. This was a great choice and I’m super happy, came very quick too!

Great value
High quality keyboard tray. Easy to install and works as expected. Nice size that fits a keyboard and a mouse

Great product, horrible instructions
I ordered this as it was just about the cheapest option out there on Amazon ($33). I got the cherry color and works perfectly for my home office. I did not get this for a keyboard/mouse but instad got it as a food tray. This will work perfectly for my lunches and as you can see, fits a large plate quite well. Its quite sturdy and can handle me place my arms/elbows on it without issue. This would be 5 stars if the instructions weren’t so bad. They were actually no good at all, I had to just figure it out on my own. The only thing it was good for was to know how many screws I should have but even that was kind of misleading. I was able to install alone but had to improvise using a small laptop table to hold the board up. It worked perfectly. Without something like that, you’ll definitely need another person. Packaging was great as well and lots of protection. The board seems to be decent quality and looks like it’ll hold up for a year or two. I’ll probably add heavy duty tape to the edges where my hands/arms will rest the most to extend the life; i foresee that being the first section to start peeling back. Otherwise, a great deal and solution for what I need. One last comment, this should hold just about any normal size keyboard and mouse pad. Enjoy and God bless!

Great keyboard tray but read review for installation tips
I bought two of these for my new Friant Gitana home office desk system. The mahogany finish is an exact match, and looks great. Well made unit, measures nominal 15″ x 25.5″. Now, about the installation, I am a very experienced home remodeler, not professional mind you, but very experienced, and I must say, because the unit is so heavy, it is very difficult to install. The difficulty lies in not how it attaches, which is by 8 Phillips head screws to the underside of the desk, but in keeping it positioned accurately while you attach it. Even with two people it is difficult, and I am picky, wanting the installed result to be square with the desktop and not look like a child installed it. Anyway, I came up with a solution that worked well for me, and did not take two people. That is, I measured from the floor to the underside of the tray in the “installed ” position. I then found a piece of scrap wood, a 2 x 4 will work fine, and cut it to that length, maybe a bit more, so that it would wedge underneath the tray and hold it tightly in position while I adjusted it to exactly where I wanted it, and then drilled some pilot holes, don’t drill too far, only go in far enough to make a starter hole for the screws. You could just screw it and not drill pilot holes, but I didn’t want the screw wandering so as to move the position of the tray, so it was more accurate with the pilot holes. Leaving the board in place, I screwed it in. Done! I recommend using the hang down bracket positions in the lowest setting giving you the most room for your hand and mouse access.

Solid, simple and looks good
The shelf looks professional and it’s very solid. It’s a lot more sturdy than the other trays I’ve used. No wobbles and It locks in place, both closed and open so it doesn’t roll away from me while I’m typing. The three different height options were nice for getting it fine tuned. I’ve been very happy with this tray.It is deep at about 15 inches. The depth makes it tough for mounting to a stand-up desk with a large support beam running under the desk top, but some spacer blocks took care of that for me.

Just right for my needs
Nice, large (25″) pull out tray/shelf for keyboard and mouse. Appears to be well made, durable and yet fairly attractive. Since this was to be installed on a granite top, I first mounted the assembly to two 1/2″ sheating strips that measured about 3″ wide x 30″ long. After marking the desired location on the bottom of the granite, I then I evenly applied a generous amount of Loctite adhesive to the opposite side of each strip. Using an old adjustable height computer chair for temporary support, I slid the unit in to position and raised the chair height for contact. Finally, I placed 4 vertical wooden support/braces between the sheating strips and floor. Allowed to dry 48 hours. No problems whatsoever.

Good product. Low clearance.
Product is sturdy and easy to assemble. However clearance is low, barely fit a mouse.

I love the item, an one little wish change, but I’d rather have it the way it is, then chance it not being as good as it is, but my old one that broke I could put my hands in with it close to click the mouse where this one you can’t. I just got to get used to pulling the draw out now, but to let people that maybe don’t know, it does kinda lock opened all the way an closed all the way. If your finding that yours is not it’s most likely you don’t have it installed straight an it’s alittle off center which will make it so you have this problem. mine was doing that aswell until I saw it was alittle off so I reinstalled it correctly an perfect. I also couldn’t put my desk upside down , an it was pretty tricky. Some pointers for the not so handy people that could use these tricks. First pre drill holes not completely but just to help with the start, an if your forced to install without turning upside down. I took an office chair took the back off an laid down on it with my upper back an put the drawer on my stomach an was the best way for me. If you don’t pre drill first good luck that’s all I can say I tried an had to come up with a plan B. Hope this helps an I think this is a great item, an a great price. I’ll keep buying them if I need them over an over again. Well worth it an it’s looks definitely don’t look cheap what do ever, an if you still reading this an need one just buy it , an be done with this issue, an move on to the next one that’s what I can do now. Problem is a thing in the past now for me thank you. Oh yeah another thing the drawer comes out more than enough if you find it doesn’t that’s cuz you installed it to far under your desk. I have mine installed 2 inches from the edge an now I wish I would of only went 1 inch but even with 2 inches I have more than enough area an I’d not worth the redo, but if I ever need another I’ll only go an inch but that’s for it to be perfect ,almost perfect 2 inches either or works perfectly

Holds my extended Logitech K750 keyboard along with mouse and mousepad on the side. There’s even enough room to hold a second keyboard behind (I switch between work & non-work computers). The tray only moves back and forth but is stable. I mounted the tray to the right side of the desk so that the keyboard (residing on the left of the tray) is centered on the desk in front of the monitor. I also added extenders and used longer screws (purchased from a local hardware store) to increase the distance between the tray and desk.

The following should be added or changed for this keyboard tray. The tray should come with a paper template for mounting the brackets. The cost to the manufacturer would be minimal and would enhance mounting a great deal. The mounting brackets should be reversible so the holes in the brackets can be directly above the keyboard (rather than above and to the side of the keyboard), or so the holes in the brackets can be above and to the side of the keyboard. This way the brackets could be mounted directly above the keyboard. The keyboard slide should be detachable from the mounting brackets so the brackets could be attached to the underside of the mounting surface then the keyboard could be slid (installed) in place.

Bought it to match with my desk of same brand. Well made. Easy to put on, but it’s better to assemble when your desk is turned upside down. A bit pricey when you compare to the price of the desk. Shouldn’t be more than $65. Would have liked to be 3-4 inches wider but it’S good.

Fairly heavy duty. The laminate looks decent enough and came protected, so no gouges. Installation with home made template and pre-drilled holes, made for a quality sliding tray. Thank you
