Overpriced, Poorly Engineered – Keyboard Tray is a Joke
This should have been an upgrade from my old manual sit-stand desk, but the keyboard tray design is so bad it ruins the whole thing. The side brackets aren’t recessed, so there’s a ¼-inch gap between the tray and the underside of the desk. The result? The tray flexes every time you type (see video). It feels cheap and unstable right out of the box.Then there’s the edging. Whoever decided to place the seam right where your wrist rests clearly never used this desk. It’s already scratching my wrist after a week. My old desk cost less, had a flush tray with recessed brackets, and a seamless top edge—so this is not a “feature,” it’s just lazy manufacturing.I contacted VersaDesk support about these problems—no response. Three strikes and you’re out.There are some positives: I like the push-button sit-stand function—it hits the exact same spot every time. But even here, the USB port placement is a miss. It sticks out directly under the sit-stand button, which means if you’re right-handed and have something plugged in, you can’t comfortably use your mouse.Whoever designed this desk clearly never spent any real time working at it. For the price, I expected something solid, ergonomic, and well thought out. Instead, it’s flimsy, uncomfortable, and frustrating.

My husband got this since he works from home. He loves it He can set it to remembers what height he likes it. It’s great that he isn’t sitting all day. It fits his computer screen and his laptop. Highly recommended

Setup is easy
I purchased the 40″ Versadesk for work. It was well packaged and showed up quickly. I attached a three monitor arm to it and the Versadesk handles the weight well. Easy to setup and program the memory for user height. The only thing I would complain about is that I ordered the cherry finish and Amazon sent me the black instead. Not worth sending back but a little disappointed.

Poor durability (motor) and unresponsive customer service
The desk looks nice. Build quality and durability is questionable since the desk up button keeps becoming unresponsive. After 2 or 3 resets it again works, but in the next up cycle the issue repeats. This is very worrisome for a brand new product. The customer service is only through chat and stops responding after a few messages (0 stars). I am considering returning this since this is within the return window.

Not as pictured
The item I received was not the item pictured. The control panel on the VERSADESK Elite Standing Desk Converter, 36″ Wide PowerPro Elite was underneath the top level and not integrated into it. The metallic silver trim is a tan gray. The keyboard tray is connected on the outer edge of the upper level by a complete different arms. If a seller is going to substitute a product they should be required to notify the purchaser first. The substitute desk raiser is not as aesthetically pleasing as the one pictured. I have reached out to Versa Desk with no satisfactory response.
