Great looking chairs but…
I purchased 4 of these 2 years 5 months ago. One I used on a daily basis, working on the computer, eating, having a coffee break or just gazing out the window for a while, second chair was only used about once a day for dinner time with my boarder, the third was never used except by my cat for naps and to leap onto an adjacent shelf at a window, the fourth was always stored away as the table has one side pressed against a windowed wall and that place setting has a memorial picture of my mom and flowers, god rest her soul. Now these are great looking dining room chairs, even as folding chairs, they just look natural around a big table, kind of fancy. I really liked these chairs. But a few days ago as I sat down, the back right leg split six inches at an angle going straight thru the hole made for the hinge screw. It caught me off guard as these chairs looked pretty solid in there design, parts, and materials, I trusted them, they seemed sturdy enough. I’ve taken care and have never stood on the chairs, as I already have a step stool for that purpose. So I got up off the floor, dusted off my pride and figured it was just a fluke accident. So thankful for having an extra chair, I grabbed that one and set the broken one aside for later repairs. The very next day I went to sit down for dinner and THAT one broke in exactly the same area the hinge screw was snapped off flush right at the threaded hole, the brand new chair that never got used! Now I am down to two chairs and if another breaks I will be throwing out the last one and looking for a different brand and seller. I guess 212$ to rent four disposable dangerous chairs for a couple of years is not so bad. Lucky to have gotten the use out of them that I did and thankfully no one got hurt. I honestly don’t trust these chairs now, even if did repair them. I don’t want to take the risk of someone else being injured. Use your best judgment and good luck with your purchase. They do look very decorative, that much is certain, just remember to break out the safe chairs when company or loved ones comes over.

I love this chair! I needed a chair to use at my kitchen counter when prepping food, but I didn’t want to always have a chair at the counter. I also wanted something comfortable that wouldn’t irritate my pretty sensitive back. And, I was trying to find a chair that’s sturdy and wouldn’t fall apart shortly after I purchased it. Aaaand, I wanted something attractive that didn’t look cheap. It took forever to find a chair that had everything that I wanted. This one is it.Some things I love about it:* First, it’s the perfect height for my counter. You can comfortably sit and eat, prepare food, use your computer, whatever you need to at your kitchen counter.* It’s VERY comfortable with a well-padded, rounded back and well padded seat. You’ll be able to sit on this for an extended period of time without your back hurting or bum going numb. :-)* It’s sturdy and not wobbly. We have people of various heights and weights in our family/friends and the chair holds all of them without feeling like it’s going to crumble.* You can fold it up and put it away with ease. My 88 year old mom can fold it up without issue. It’s great to be able to just fold it up and put it into a closet when we don’t need it.* It’s very attractive and doesn’t look cheap at all. No one will ever know that you grabbed this up at a great price on Amazon. :-)I’m super happy with this chair and think you will be, too. No complaints and I can’t think of anything I’d change or improve.
