Super great value for the money
Outstanding restaurant quality chair, very heavy duty but not too heavy to move easily. Arrived in pristine condition as it was very well wrapped for delivery. Everyone comments on how nice it looks and my short adult friends are pleased that their feet can touch the floor while seated.

Super sturdy solid wood chair
I looked and looked for two chairs to use with a small wood table I bought. I decided on these. They are not the style I wanted (wanted more modern) but compared to so many other chairs I looked at these appeared to be ones that could be relied upon for sturdiness. I’m plus sized and no, I don’t normally break chairs that I sit on, but I wanted to know that a chair was capable of supported much more weight than I am just so that I know it wouldn’t break with anyone sitting on it. That was the number one selling point for these chairs, great weight capacity.Second, they are nice looking even though I would have preferred something more modern but modern style chairs that were reasonably priced often had a much lower weight capacity and I didn’t want to take a chance.Are these chairs comfortable? Sigh, not really. They are solid wood so they are hard on the butt, but I bought two nice chair cushions and now both of the chairs is reasonably comfortable to sit on. Other people may not be as bothered by the hard seat, but we are achy folk, and the hard chairs were a bit too hard for us. That isn’t a fault, it’s wood, we knew this, but a good seat cushion was a worthy investment.I do wish the stain was less red, but I also knew this upon buying them and one of these days when I’m feeling ambitious I’ll give them a light sand and then stain them more of a walnut color.Overall, these chairs are very well made and super sturdy. They aren’t huge but they are heavy (a good sign when you hope what you got is actually solid wood!). If we ever get different chairs for the table, we will keep these for other uses. They are quality and I won’t be letting them go!

Sturdy, well made, worth the $
I can’t say enough good things about this chair! It is very well made. Super sturdy and appealing to the eye. The chair arrived in one piece so no assembly required. Seems a little pricey but it’s worth it. This is a heavy duty chair, highly recommend if you are in need!

Comfortable, Very sturdy.
I would have given it a 5 star, but I had to repair two defects with wood putty and wood marker. It was a quicker solution than sending it back. It wasn’t caused by shipping. Not a mark on the box. The defects were under the protective wraps on the chair, which tells me it was sent out with them. Still a solid chair. A bit too reddish.

Extremely Sturdy
I am rather astounded by this chair. For the last five years, I have been using a dining chair as my desk chair (I work from home) and I love the straight back, and sturdiness of a dining chair. Add a good seat cushion, and I am good to go all day.Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, one of the turned legs broke at a thinner point.I bought a nice looking desk chair (swivel, wheels, etc…) and it was incredibly uncomfortable. I bought a couple of X back chairs, and while they are comfortable for short periods of time, the X on the back curves outward, leaving my back unsupported. The seat was also flat, making the seat less comfortable, even with a cushion. They required assemble, and one piece on the back has already cracked on one of the chairs.I ordered this chair, hoping it would solve my problems, and so far, so good. The chair is shipped assembled, that’s a plus. The back is straight, no curves, not recline. It curves outward a bit toward the top, but provides good contact and support. The seat is not flat, it has butt divots carved in it, which adds a lot of comfort.The finish is what I would call a medium cherry, it is definitely more red than my mahogany guitar and dulcimer. I really like it though. The style is classic Mission style and looks like it could have been made 100 years ago, but would fit with almost any decor style, aside from Mod style, but could work with MCM.This chair is a GREAT value for the money, and I was thrilled to be able to order just one, instead of having to buy two.

Solid and Sturdy!
Good chair, just what I wanted. Arrived in good shape in spite of the delivery companies best efforts to destroy it. Packaging worked to keep it safe. Chair is nice and sturdy, definitely heavy duty! Finish is good, color matched what I expected. Very happy with it!

An Attractive And Solidly Built Chair
I received my chair already assembled and this is indeed a very solidly build chair that should last.I am heavy and wanted one that could hold a heavy set person (and this chair can) with no worries.The chair design is simple straightforward and solidly built with reinforcements (very nice)!The finish “is” a bit more red than I would call Mahogany but is very attractive and nicely finished.All in all a good purchase and I recommend this chair.
