Useful and worth the money
Both drawers lock, which was exactly what we wanted. Took some time to put together, but it’s nice and sturdy. Good value, and helpful for organization of our files. Perfect size, too. Been a really great option. Not sure if it’s fireproof or waterproof, but I’m not going to test it haha.

Worthless…cheap…missing parts
NEVER AGAIN… This was total frustration… The screws do not fit and one must struggle with them. Some will work, some will remain loose, some will not fit in place fully. I proceeded anyway and then realized that not all the parts were included. So once I was ready to put the back on to the flimsy draw, there was no back included in the packaging and there were two extra side panels. NEVER AGAIN! Yes, it was packaged professionally yet the product is worthless. And…because it is a 3rd party, UPS needs to pick it up. I ain’t taking it apart!!!!! Save your money and buy quality!

VERY NICE CAB! VERY WELL PACKAGED, USING VERY HIGH DENSITY FOAM PACKING MATERIAL, LIKE THEY WANTED IT TO ARRIVE UNDAMAGED! WENT TOGETHER WELL AND END RESULT IS A STRONG DURABLE FILING CAB. IT HAS ANTI TIP MECHANISM IN IT SO YOU CAN ONLY OPEN ONE DRAWER AT A TIME.THIS IS A 4 DRAWER CAB.

great, if you dont like file folders in your hanging folders
got this as I wanted to have legal size folders to store our filing in.Assembly was fine, took 45 min or so. Not complex at all.Drawers are a little flimsy but not too bad.Overall its fairly sturdy for how much you are spending. it is NOT a SteelCase but is fine for home/light work environments.Glides are a little cheaper/flimsy but once the drawers are installed they seem to work.Generally, you get what you pay for and this isn’t expensive but is of reasonable quality.My biggest issue came once I started to files in it. I put legal hanging folders front to back and then started to load up the manila file folders in those. Everything seemed ok until I closed and opened the drawer. The file folder tabs get caught (and ripped) on the cross brace support that is between the drawers. I messed with it a bit but in the end I took out one of the cross braces on the one main drawer I am using which you shouldn’t have to do.I didnt see any material change in sturdiness when I removed the cross brace but not sure once its fully loaded if it will matter. I likely will just use it for letter (left/right) filing in the other 2 drawers and leave the other cross brace in. Just wanted to make people aware – hanging folders + manila file folders = bad outcome unless you remove the cross brace.

Cabinet is put together yourself
Nice but took forever to put together and I can usually get things put together rather quickly. This time not so much. Video was much better than paper instruction’s.
A Reasonable Opinion –
Keep your files, filed.
If you are in the market for a filing cabinet, you will undoubtedly realize that their are many different brands in this price point. I took a chance on the Viyet because while it seemed newer (not many reviews) the reviews seemed to be growing and most were very positive. The filing cabinet arrived in perfect condition and with 2 people casually putting it together it took the better part of an hour but it wasn’t difficult. The kit even includes a screwdriver to help with assembly, neat! The end result is a sturdy and clean looking filing cabinet that I’m very happy with. I may be grabbing another one soon too.
