How did we get our start?
SomosBeds started in 1989, and the original facility was a 1,200-square-foot self-storage locker in Frederick, MD. Now there are over 250 shops and growing.

Soft Yet Medium-Firm Support for a Good Night’s Sleep
This is a Vine review, meaning the product was provided to be reviewed.This product is a regular-length twin pillow-top medium-firm mattress. The top is white and quilted and the walls are royal blue. The product does not have side handles and weighs about 50 pounds. It is compressed to about 1/3 of its normal height and is vacuum packed in clear plastic and rolled into a cardboard box for shipping.After unpacking the mattress, I let it reform itself for two days before using it. It actually quickly regained its shape after being removed from the packing material, though the pillow top was compressed. I figured two days would let the springs fully expand and the pillow top to breathe and return to normal, and that is what happened except for the corners of the pillow top, which remained slightly compressed.The mattress is comfortable and presents a nice combination of pillow top softness with medium-firm support under the pillow top. The pillow top is organic cotton, which breathes well and when used with cotton sheets, is pleasant and cool. The product provided a good night’s sleep with no back ache in the morning. Part of the appeal of this mattress is the pillow top, and what makes it appealing to me is the pillow top is not excessive — it is about 2″ thick, enough to be soft and comfortable, but not so much as to cause a sore back.In summary, this mattress is an improvement over my current non-pillow top mattress. It is comfortable yet firm enough to provide a healthy night’s rest. I am glad I ordered it and look forward to pleasant nights for many years to come.

Very comfortable, no odd odors
The mattress is very comfortable. It has a plush, soft layer on top with a cozy amount of give, and then the mattress part is pretty firm. Very comfortable.We waited 24 hours for it to fully expand before using it, but it really only took maybe 30 minutes. We didn’t see any changes after that.Very little manufacturer’s smell. We could only smell it when we laid down to test it out. I was so worried the smell would fill the room, but it wasn’t an issue.

Comfy Mattress
I allowed this mattress 72 hours to fully rebound before I laid down or placed any linens on it. It fluffed up quite nicely with no indentations.It’s a rather comfy bed for being a medium form hybrid mattress. It much more on the softer side of the firm spectrum than a lot of other beds in its category.I’m a side sleeper that loves some support from my bed while sleeping but I also enjoy a bit of softness as if I’m being cradled a bit. This mattress provides that for me which my body is thankful for.I recommend this product to anyone searching for a good-quality medium-firm mattress !

SomosBeds Fairhill Pillow Top Mattress – perfect balance of soft and firmness.
I ordered a twin for my granddaughter’s bed, which arrived rolled and vacuum-packed. The mattress fully expanded in 24 hours. The pillow top isn’t that thick but comfortable as I slept on the mattress for a couple of nights before transferring it to her bed. I put a waterproof mattress protector on the mattress. It is an 11-inch mattress and has 759 encased coils plus foam with a layer of gel foam. It is supposed to be medium firm and have a cooling gel on top to keep you cool. I never felt hot but then I have never had a mattress make me feel hot. This one is not too soft and not too firm. I found it to be very comfortable and the mattress did not impede my movement. I have some back and hip pain and I felt this mattress supported my back great as I am a back sleeper. I woke up pain-free and felt rested. I had no problem going from lying down to sitting on the side of the mattress to get up. I have a Tempur-Pedic that is 4 years old and I felt this mattress was just as comfortable as my Tempur-Pedic which is two twins that come together so they can move up and down independently. The SomosBeds Fairhill Pillow Top Mattress is a very comfortable and a great buy.

Nice quality , was easy to set up
This was my first time getting a mattress in a box , I followed instructions and let it set up overnight , son says it’s very comfortable, I tried it and I have back issues but felt super comfortable, and it’s definitely cooling . Really good quality, it’s a little expensive but I think this will last for years so was worth it to me .
