Great chair; very comfortable and worth the purchase.
What I have learned from many years of purchasing and putting together chairs like this is it’s always best to buy a chair upon which the arms are separate from the body of the chair. There are many chairs on the market that are put together such that the entire support of the chair rests on the arms connecting the bottom of the chair to the body of the chair. That is way too much pressure on the screws that hold the arms on. This chair is not like that. You can actually put this chair together WITHOUT the arms and the chair will function properly.First, the parts of the chair were packaged very nicely. Everything was wrapped separately inside the box to protect against damaging the soft fabric of the two parts of the chair (back and bottom). Very easy to put together – intuitive and the directions were better than many I’ve seen.When you apply the arms, there is “give” in the application point of about an inch where you can tighten the arms closer to the body or farther away from the body giving yourself more space. I chose to tighten the screws farther away from the body so I can sit cross legged.When you apply the back of the chair to the bottom, there is the same “give” in the application point of about an inch where you can give yourself a “deeper” seat or a “shallower” seat. I chose to tighten the screws farther away from the seat so I can sit cross legged.The arms of the chair will adjust higher – which I use while I am on conference calls to appear more “relaxed”. When I want to pull my chair closer to the desk, I can adjust the arms down and they slide under the desk perfectly.The leg rest slides out pretty far – I’m surprised how far this goes – and you can slide further away or closer to you depending upon if you want to extend your legs straight out or cross them. When not in use, it slides neatly back under the seat.I do not personally like to use a recline feature on an office chair. To me, it’s asking too much of a moderately priced chair to perform that function (even if advertised as a main feature). That is not what an office chair is for – and I feel it’s just going to wear certain points out faster than necessary. If I want to recline or relax, I go the couch or bed. Instructions for the recline feature on this chair is included but I did not try it. I believe there is also a “rock” feature. Again, I’m not going to use my office chair as a rocker.I am pleasantly surprised the back of the chair is just higher than the top of my head. I’m tall (5’9″) and I am usually disappointed in the height of chairs. This chair does not have an adjustable head rest but it’s just the perfect height for me.From the looks of the chair in the pictures, it really looked like it would be “huge” and just a bit “too much” and I would be swallowed up by it. It’s just the perfect size. Not too big that it takes up too much space around my desk but big enough that I feel the chair hugging around me. I think this is going to really help my posture too because my old chair was so uncomfortable that I found myself always sitting on the edge of it like I was trying to get away from it (LOL) and this chair encourages me to actually sit back and relax into it.I purchased the beige chair because it was one of the three colors that was going to arrive quickly. I didn’t want black again and I’m not brave enough for white. The beige is a beautiful color. Very calming.I am very pleased with my purchase and hope the seat holds up. Obviously the seat is the first thing to wear out on a chair no matter the size of the person using it. The back of this chair is so comfy though I hope if the seat does wear out quickly, a cushion will help because this chair is a dream.

Best chair I’ve owned!
I love this chair! I am 5’3 and 220 lbs, so not a light feather. I wanted a chair that not only was comfortable but that I had room to move around. This chair is extremely cushioned, supportive, and you can easily change positions, such as both feet on the floor or one leg under, even cross cross. Being shorter I do have a little foot rest since my feet won’t touch the floor. The chair reclines greatly if you need a little snooze or to sit back and relax. I love the foot rest feature. It’s worth the money and has held up for the year ish I’ve had it. I work from home and attend graduate courses online so I spend a LOT of time in this chair and it’s been the best chair I have owned.Slides easily across thin carpet and wood. Haven’t noticed any squeaking. Comfortable and supportive. Looks beautiful in my office. Buy with confidence!

The BEST chair available!!
I love, LOVE this chair and I am SOO happy I bought it! I had been eying this chair for awhilr and waited until it was on sale. The chair is incredibly comfortable, especially when sitting for long periods of time. It honestly feels like sitting in a recliner sometimes. The armrests are adjustable. The chair is on the bigger side, so make sure you have enough room for it. It does lean a good way back, but not all the way flat. The chair has 2 levers; 1 for the height adjustment and the other one to lock the back position in place. I do appreciate the built-in foot rest and use it every day. I wish the footrest was built sturdier and that it was just a little longer. Even being 5’4″, my feet hang off some and it can become uncomfortable at times. With me being 5’4″, the included standard gas cylinder works just fine for me. Personally, I do like my chairs a little higher, though. I did request for the shorter cylinder and the skate-style wheels. I did not replace the cylinder, but I did replace the wheels. The skate wheels are smooth gliding. However, I had to put the original wheels back on because the skate wheels kept squeaking on my plastic floor mat. The chair is very sturdy and took me about 30 mins to put together. I think this chair is a great value for the money. I highly recommend this chair, whether it be for gaming or working from home; whatever the reason, you should get this chair!!

Big, beautiful, and comfy!
This chair is meant for big and tall people but I liked the roominess of the seat, the cushioned armrests, and the beautiful color so I went for it. After 12 years in my ergonomic office chair, this chair is a soft, comfy, luxurious treat!! The seat has pocketed coils which was important to me bc my old chair’s seat was so hard I had to buy cushions for it, but it was still hard and very uncomfortable. This new chair seat was very firm when I first sat in it, which had me a bit disappointed. But within a few short weeks, it is softening up and I absolutely love it!! It is very sturdy and when I rock back, I don’t worry about falling. The footrest is great when you just want to change position and put your feet up for awhile. But know you will need to have your knees bent. It’s not meant for laying your legs straight out in front of you like a e recliner.I do use a lumbar cushion just because since it’s for larger people, the padding doesn’t hit my back in the right spot. I’m 5’6″ for reference.My chair did arrive in a damaged box. Not the seller’s fault at all. Upon inspection after assembly (which I did all by myself btw), I discovered a small area on the armrest padding that had gotten scuffed. When I contacted customer service, they sent me an Amazon gift card to compensate me, and also sent the nice, upgraded wheels and shorter cylinder.I am very happy with my big, beautiful chair from Excebet and would recommend it without hesitation.

I just received this item today. It came with simple easy to follow instructions but be aware it is heavy and maybe a two individual job. I put it together myself and it’s quality from the parts to the seat and foam used for the padding. It was a big upgrade for me and highly recommend.

This chair is awesome especially if you are taller. It works for regular height as well but the taller back, comfy armrests really suit the taller person. Easy to put together, better with two people but I managed without too much difficulty on my own.It is a very sturdy chair. I’d buy it again!
