I have had memory foam mattresses for years and due to their firmness I have always needed some kind of topper. My last topper was also memory foam, several inches thick however, there was no cover on it at all. Just plain foam. It was fairly expensive and never really provided me with much comfort. It was better/softer than the memory foam combo mattress we had alone but it held in all the heat and I would get way too hot every night. After awhile it became like popcorn. Little pieces of foam.would pop off leaving cellulite looking holes all over the topper, making it itchy and uncomfortable.I removed it but couldn’t sleep on our mattress alone. I wanted to try something that included the cool gel within the memory foam to see if it would help me, especially with hot flashes. I have had insomnia for YEARS now and willing to try almost anything to get more than an hours worth of sleep at one time.This topper showed up a few days ago, fully incased in a cover that’s incredibly soft and smooth. Upon removing the packaging, the mattress topper didn’t really expand past an inch. But tell you what, I laid on that inch to see what’s it like and I was blown away by how cold it was and how soft one inch could be. It was so much better than all my previous toppers and mattresses.The case covering the topper has been done well and looks durable. It seems to be thick like a sewn on mattress covering and the stitching and details are well done. The overall quality of this product stands out and is well made. When first removing the packaging, there was an odd chemical smell but, it disappeared within minutes. When laying on the topper, even though it hadn’t reached its full size or thickness, I could immediately tell it was much colder and softer than any topper I have had previously. I decide to sleep on it that night, as it continued to rise, bit by bit, and it was super comfortable. I, like many, have back troubles. One of mine is that any pressure to my back like laying down or even taking a shower creates immense pain. As water hits my back from the shower it can feel like little, deep penetrating stabs hitting my skin and into my muscles and bones. With this topper, partially due to the cold and definitely due to the softness, I was able to lay down and relax comfortably and even drifted off to sleep in moments. I awoke 30 minutes later because I was cold. That was something I’m not very used to. After a bit, I fell back to sleep comfortably, and slept for several hours without issues. I can tell you, after that, I am excited to see what happens tonight!This mattress topper is everything it claims to be. It’s softer and cooler than others on the market and worth every penny asked. If you had always wanted to know if those claims are real or too good to be true….I can testify that this brand is telling you the truth.

Perfect topper – good firmness for the memory foam.
I think this is a great value for the thickness. The fabric coverings have a good quality feel and I believe it will be long lasting. The elastic straps are a nice feature to hold it in place. As most others, it comes totally compressed, but it does expand quite quickly. It was at almost full thickness after just 12 hours. Definitely recommend this if you are looking to improve sleep or possibly reduce back pain from a poor quality mattress.

Comfortable sleep for my guests
This gel topper makes for a great night sleep. I was going to throw away my son’s old mattress when he moved out, but my husband convinced me to try to “refurbish” it and the room for guests. So we added a mattress pad and this gel topper. Our first guest was yesterday (a niece), and she was wowwed. She said it was the best night sleep in a long time and asked if she could take the topper back to college with her. It came vaccuum sealed and was so easy. Just lay it on the bed and open the package. It immediately resumed nearly it’s full size ( the insert says give 3 days). No funny smell to it either which was a surprise to me. It was a bit difficult to fit around the mattress corners. I’m not sure if it’s because I didn’t wait the 3 days for it to fully re- form, or because the mattress was pillow topped to start with. Anyway after it was fitted and the bed remade it looked and felt great. Now that I know, I may invest in a thicker one for an even more cushy rest. It is NOT memory foam. I expected it to hold my hand’s shape when I pressed down but it doesn’t not. It springs immediately back to position (so far. If that changes with repeated use I’ll update). Seems to be decent quality and works as expected
