Good table for price point very pretty too
Table was a bit difficult to put together took about 2 1/2 hours but the table seems sturdy and the sliding extension fits well inside the insert and is able to close smoothly

Nice table
Sturdy and beautiful. Took way to long to build, as instructions are kinda confusing. Video helped a lot

Cheap finish on the top
This was a lot more challenging to build than I thought it would be and even though it says you don’t need a drill I would probably still be putting it together if I hadn’t used one. I have a lot experience building ikea furniture and this was much more difficult. The metal base is sturdy and strong but the top of it is a very cheap finish and is not 100% wood. It was scratched and scuffed up just from the assembly process alone. I’m sure my children will have it very scratched up in less than a few months. While I’m not going to return it, I definitely would not purchase it again. I also think some of the instructions were wrong or just non-sensical. They have you put the leaf in while it’s upside down on the floor and then screw in the base- this doesn’t make sense since the runner won’t fit correctly with the leaf in, only when it’s removed. You can’t stand it up with the leaf in place because it doesn’t lock solidly enough for you to lift it up. Also some of the prefabbed holes for the base did not line up correctly. I had to screw in 3 out of 4 and call it good. Overall, I wish I would have just waited to find something that was a better quality.

DON’T BUY
DO NOT BUY THIS. The holes are misaligned. Instructions or horrible. It is impossible to put together. I can not return it as the original packaging is so beat up and there are so many heavy parts. There are maybe some that will get parts drilled properly, so if you want to take a $200 bet go for it.

Beautiful Table, But Be Ready for a Long Build
This table is stunning to look at—modern, elegant, and definitely a statement piece. The instructions are clear, but the assembly is far from simple. It’s much more complex than anything I’ve built from IKEA and took me nearly a full day to put together alone. The key is not tightening screws all the way until the end to ensure everything aligns properly. The metal base is solid, but the tabletop is engineered wood with laminate, so you need to be careful with tools—going too fast with a drill could split it. The extension mechanism works, but not every piece clicks as securely as it should, which affects overall sturdiness. Also, the table surface scratches easily, so I wouldn’t recommend it for households with kids or for heavy use (like board games). That said, once assembled, it looks amazing and works fine for meals or light use. You definitely get what you pay for: beautiful design, but middling quality and a very time-consuming build.
