    Gorgeous and functional!
Came early and was easy to put together. Took about 3 hours for 2 people to put together. Drill not essential. Parts were quality and we were impressed. Though pick up your own stuff to secure to the wall as the drywall anchors won’t cut it at the weight of this shelf. Definitely heavy and sturdy. Was $200 cheaper and better quality than other similar cupboards. The green paint is beautiful— no scratches and seems hard to scratch.

Good value. Give yourself plenty of time to assemble.
VASAGLE Pantry Cabinet, 71.7-Inch High Freestanding Tall Cupboard Storage Cabinet with a Drawer, 2 Cabinets, 4 Adjustable Shelves, 6 Door Shelves, for Living Room, Kitchen, Ink Black UBBC561B12Sold by: Amazon.comSupplied by: Other (That’s what is says on my order details)I bought two.As others have already said, the box is heavy — 59.4kg/131 lbs — I used a dolly/hand truck to bring them inside. There are a LOT of parts (over 550 parts used during assembly including screws), it takes time to assemble, and spare hardware parts are provided. The packaging is IMPRESSIVE! They use the minimal space required for the box and keep all parts protected with Styrofoam cut to precise dimensions and with Styrofoam film between all boards. In my opinion, the instructions are very clear (primarily drawings with a few worded instructions). I had no trouble following the instructions. Somebody mentioned that you need a variety of tools. No. All you really need is a knife to open the box, a Phillips head and flat head screwdriver. These are tools that all homeowners and apartment dwellers should already have on hand. Heck, I have pocket knives that have all the tools needed to assemble this product. I do recommend a power screwdriver or a drill set to low torque (with the aforementioned screwdriver bits), but it’s not really necessary. The holes were almost 100% accurate and when not, the small wood screws provided were up to the job. The larger holes were very accurate.I did need a second person to help me place the top half onto the bottom half. Otherwise, I (a 67 year-old, kind of frail man) did all of the rest of the assembly, lifting, and moving. Speaking of moving, I stuck some velvet protectors to the bottom to aid in moving and to protect the flooring. One of the pantries had uneven knobs on the bottom doors as shown in other reviewers pictures. The second pantry did not have this problem — all knobs are even. So, obviously, YMMV as it did in my case.As to durability, well . . . the major structures are particle board with some sort of (plasticized film?) finish (easily mangled by screws & tools — be careful!) that should help keep the humidity out. The cabinet backs and drawer bottom are somewhat sturdier than cardboard — fairly common even with purchased solid wood furniture. As with any particle board furniture, don’t plan on moving it very often — it doesn’t do well with disassembly/reassembly. And don’t let it get wet.We haven’t finished stocking the shelves, but somebody mentioned that they wouldn’t be able to hold cans without bowing. I wonder if that reviewer received an inferior version since several reviewers provided pictures that are clearly stocked with cans. I’ll edit this review if our results are unsatisfactory.I would certainly prefer a solid wood pantry and even had plans to build one myself, but lumber costs went through the roof in the 2020s and I ran out of time. SHE has spoken and we got a decent deal on these pantries.

    Good size cabinet. Okay quality.
I like this cabinet for what it is.. this is not the strongest cabinet.. I dont think it can be disassembled and put back together bc of the screw holes. However it was easy to put together, it looks nice. Holds my pots and pans in the bottom section. Ill update if it breaks. The box was beat to heck but only one piece was cracked. I wood glued it hopefully it stays.

    Perfect cabinet
I just finished putting this together, by myself, it did take me about 6 hours to put together. However, the directions were very good and easy to follow. The box is very heavy to lift to get from outside to inside and there is a LOT of pieces. Definitely need a hand drill. The finished product was definitely worth the labor. it’s SO cute and looks great in my kitchen; I can fit a lot in it. It seems like good quality so far. I can’t wait to use it.

This pantry holds a LOT of stuff!
I’m very pleased with my new kitchen pantry cabinet. I just moved to a new place with a large kitchen and lots of cabinet room, including a huge 14-section built-in pantry cabinet my brother built; however, I wanted my own overflow pantry cabinet because there will be four adults living here, and we have to share the kitchen space. And since I’m a compulsive buyer and like to have a fully stocked kitchen, I didn’t want anybody complaining about how much space I was taking up with my dried and canned foods. We have extra space off from the kitchen that’s not being used (and isn’t part of the dining room), so I thought a free-standing cabinet would be perfect since we have this extra space. This pantry holds a lot more stuff than I was expecting it to, which I’m very happy about. It looks nice too.I was a little worried that a DYI ready to assemble cabinet might look kind of tacky, but not this one. I didn’t want to offend my brother and housemates with a cheap-looking pantry cabinet after my brother just spent months doing a wonderful job renovating this house we just moved into. I do have one word of warning, however. I had my brother, a professional finish carpenter, assemble the cabinet for me, and it took him about 6 hours to complete. The box weighed over 100 lbs, and there were a gazillion parts. I was quite astonished that it took so long to assemble, as he’s very good at his craft, and I’m always amazed by how fast he gets things done as I’ve seen him build many kitchens and bathrooms, including cabinetry he made himself. I’ll admit, I never could have assembled this pantry myself, and even one of our male housemates, who’s considering buying one of these pantry cabinets for himself, said he never could have done it either. So, there is some work involved that requires time and patience (and someone who is good with reading instructions). That said, I’m very pleased with the finished product.

Need time, variety of tools, and handyman skills to assemble
Reasonable product – it met my expectations. Took 2 adults with intelligence and skills about 3 hours to put together. There was more than enough hardware to use. Some of the hardware was not of very high quality and had to be discarded, but because there was more than enough, it didn’t cause a problem. The instructions are minimally acceptable. Unless you have a variety of tools and some handyman skills, I would pass on this product. It looks nice and seems like it will do the job. I wouldn’t use it for a pantry and fill with canned goods and anything very heavy.

This cabinet is wonderful, and just exactly what we needed. It has a whole lot of storage space, with the drawer, cupboards and the side spaces. It is very well made, does not look at all cheap, and we love it. It does take a whole day to put together, but it is worth it. There were a few mistakes made by the company making it~there were no notch holes in one part of it. If my husband wasn’t a machinist, it may have been difficult for him to make what he needed, to fix that problem. However it was ok for us. It just looked like a few holes were not drilled where needed, by the company. So if you are not a handyman type, maybe you’ll want to have someone there with you, that is…just incase a problem does arise. Remember, it does take a good 6 hours to put together (one person). No other problems have occurred, it is a beautiful piece & we are very happy with our purchase!!!Amazon delivered it in great shape, no scratches or dents. Thanks!!!

This cabinet is fantastic with tons of storage. If you’re looking for a modern and aesthetically pleasing pantry cabinet, this would be my first recommendation. I had some issues that the Seller resolved in a timely manner, along with going above and beyond for customer experience and satisfaction. 5 stars.

  9. Tonette

I absolutely love these cabinets. Really helps get everything organized. Love the drawer in the middle, works as a mini filing cabinet for me. Like others say it does take the better part of a day to put together. I laid all the pieces out in alphabetical order. There are one or two minor mistakes in the instructions, but not hard to figure out. Everything went together well except one of the metal joiners that screws in was very loose so it was a trip to the hardware store to buy some heavy duty glue.

There are a lot of pieces. Not an easy build but well worth it once complete. Lots of storage for big and little items. Sturdy cabinet.
