Really nice rug
My teen daughter told me no old lady rugs for her room. So we started searching together for a neutral (me) shaggy (her) rug. We looked at all the usual places and found that this rug on Amazon was priced very fair and would be delivered to our door. You can’t beat that and I have had to drag rugs home from the store and it is not fun. It rolled out really very flat and the vac on a high setting made it look good. I am pleased at how well it continues to vac and the canister is not filled with lint after having it for a month. No weird odor or anything like that either. My older daughter wants this rug in gray for her room. If you are into soft shaggy rugs this is a great value and I would buy it again.

Great Rug
I’ve had this rug for a few days so far. I was surprised by the quality of Safavieh rugs and couldn’t wait to submit a review. The first thing I noticed was how good the rug smelled. Some rugs that are purchased online have a weird chemical smell after being shipped. However, this rug smelled very fresh and I love how it continues to make the living area smell. This particular shag rug is very good if you want to create an urban/modern look and the pile height seems easy to clean without damaging the quality. I’m not objectively able to rate how easy it is to clean the rug yet. This is why I haven’t rated the rug in that area. I tend to vacuum daily or every other day. However, I don’t have a lot of traffic in the area where the rug is placed, so I wanted to wait for 1 week before vacuuming. If anyone else has had experience cleaning this particular shag rug, please let me know.

UPDATE – After three months of semi heavy traffic – holiday parties and my Shepherds using it daily as a wrestling mat – it has broken in nicely. It also cleans up easily! Overall happy with this one… ☺UPDATE – we were in a bind and ended up using the rug in our living room. For the size and price, you will not beat this deal. It does look nice in our room, so I’m giving it a solid 4 stars now. The texture is almost crunchy when you walk on it, and it is def not a 2″ pile, but other than that, it’s a steal of a deal for under $150.This was a massive disappointment. The rug is super cheap and I am crazy sad because it looks so nice and plush in the images. The pile is half of what is advertised and it is super thin. The price was a steal for the size but now I know why. This bad boy is going back. Sad day.

It is not soft stepping plush rug.
It is not as “plush” as I thought it would be. It really requires a rug pad underneath it to give it a soft to the step feel.I have other rugs in this brand and I love them, I am just a little disappointed in this one for the feel on the feet.The color is great.

Disappointing
I have ordered shag Hudson collection from this brand and loved those rugs. This time I wanted a solid color and thought this would be the same quality. Highly disappointed. Poor quality, thin, no comfy shag feeling, and not thick that there is white bald areas coming through the carpet that I can see the white. I already removed them from the packaging and it would be more work to send them back so I will just keep them until I find something to replace them. I rarely take the time to review items I buy, but I really did this time because the appearance and quality is not what you see online. Pass and continue looking…

EXCELLENT rug for the price
This is our 4th rug from this company and we couldn’t be more pleased. There may be softer rugs out there, but certainly not at this price. We find this plenty soft and comfy to walk on. Ours laid flat and we didn’t even need to use tape…just a good vacuum and you’re good to go. My only complaint is the usage of UPS for shipping. Through no fault of Amazon, this rug went all around the US before we finally received and the updates were all over the place. However, Amazon was quick to answer any questions about the whereabouts of our purchase and made this more than right with us. I would also like to give Amazon ten stars for their customer appreciation…HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We purchased this for our nursery. The colour matched perfectly to what we were expecting and it arrived faster than we expected it to! (purchased during COVID-19 so we expected late delivery). As it comes rolled up, it takes a while for the wrinkles to go away but they do. We ended up having to sticky pads for underneath at the corners to stop the edges from rolling up as it comes rolled up pretty tight so I would recommend to add those if you purchase this!

If you are looking for a white rug, this is not white as advertised, it is ivory, unfortunately. I do not know if it’s easy to clean and I didn’t use it before returning so I don’t know how it looks fully open quality wise.
