Great Chair
I’m comparing this chair to all my previous chairs. I tend to buy a new office/game chair every year for $100 or so. An arm falls off, the fake leather peels from the fabric, the stitching comes undone and the chair will slowly lower while you’re on the phone.My intent is to buy one chair that will last three years, at $100 per year. I’m 5’10” and 215 lbs.My first thought was the chair was too damn comfy. I sat in my old chair and found that it had increased in hardness dramatically since I bought this new chair. I even went to the loft and sat in the game room chair. That chair is too damn hard. Back to the new chair and I slowly sink into the soft seating and comfort. I don’t like my old chairs anymore.I’ve noticed my lower back is a bit sore. Not sore in general from sitting in my old hard chair but just sore in one location. This chair is improving my posture and my back isn’t used to having good posture.You can lean back but you won’t stay there without an effort. This chair wants you to sit up straight while working. You can’t lean back and flip a switch to maintain that angle either. You can lock it so that you cannot lean back. You just can’t leisurely recline. This chair wants to work you. This is not a gaming chair.Careful when installing. You need a firm grip when tightening the screws but herculean efforts will split the wood.

Love this chair
I have had other chairs that were supposed to comfortable, well this one truly is. I was able to put it together in less than 40 minutes with no issues. I purchased an Amazon Warehouse deal (saved $30). I am very pleased. The only issue if I had to state one is the height. It does not go nearly as low as my old chair, but I raised my monitors to compensate and all is well. It is a solid piece of furniture and very nice looking. Btw I am 5’10” 180lbs, I fit perfectly in the chair*****update************I had a issue with the chair being lopsided, it it is an issue with the screw holes in the seat and the metal base being welded improperly (crooked). I contacted customer service and they wanted to send out the metal base immediately but the cushion would take six to 8 weeks. I decided to send this one back and try my luck with another one. Because this chair such a quality looking and comfortable chair I will give a replacement a shot. Amazon is as always extraordinary in their customer service.***update 2*******Got the new replacement, it is the way is is supposed to. Love it, my advice is to stay away from the warehouse deals because they have a higher defect possiblity

Beautiful office chair!
The chair is easy to put together, looks great, and is very comfortable. It is not real leather, so it will wear out in time. I had the chair for 7-8 years before the seat began to crack. For the cost, that’s a bargain, IMO. I like it so much, I bought it again!

Comfortable, but not sturdy.
The chair is very comfortable. It was easy to put together. The “air” feature does not keep the chair cool and is completely not worth talking about. You will get warm if you sit in this chair for a long time – it’s nothing as breathable as a mesh chair (obviously). The build quality is not very good. It does not feel like a sturdy chair. The arms wobble when you lean on them. I am sure it will eventually break. The only useful control is the height adjust. The chair can lean back, but it requires significant force and is not something you will choose to do.When it does break, I will buy something else. It is really comfortable for now, though.Update:Thanks to the coronavirus, I’m now using this chair full time. It’s terrible. First, the right arm had already broken during incredibly infrequent use. Now that I have been using the chair full time for a couple weeks as I WFH, I hate it. The irony is that this is a chair fitted with “AIR Technology”. Well let me tell you – air is the last thing my entire backside feels while sitting in this chair. The whole thing is like one hot recipe for swamp ass. I completely understand why my office chairs at work are mesh now – I have to take regular walks to dry out.Do not buy.

A beautiful piece of furniture for my husbands’ office
A beautiful piece of furniture for my husbands’ office . Double “baseball” stitching throughout body of chair. Nice clean looking La-z-boy metal logo on upper back of chair. Beautiful matted luster to bonded leather finish. There is lots of extra cushioning in seat for extended periods of sitting. The lumbar supports his back when he relaxes back into chair. Some recline but not as much as his old chair. Beautiful wood arms and feet. Very sturdy construction. Easy to put together for my husband. It took him about 40 minutes. Well pre-drilled holes and instructions that were clear. My husband has low back problems being long bodied and has had surgery for disc repair. He normally cannot sit for long periods but has found that he can sit comfortably for longer stretches , up to half an hour or so. No more pillows to support his back. A real winner for us. I’m glad I found something to replace his old worn chair. Would recommend this purchase to almost anyone.

Left arm damaged. Looks like the item had been built before due to marks where the bolts tighten therefore it should not have been deemed as new. At best refurbished but not new
