Highly recommended. Very beautiful. Lots of storage space and convenient drawers. Three electrical receptacles. And the assembly manual is Best In Class!!! Very easy to assemble. Great value for the price of this item.

Not for the faint of heart
This is a lovely kitchen island, but for the beautiful result, it takes a lot of patience and some skill with tools. A magnetic screwdriver is a must, and the predrilled holes required the services of a drill to make some of them useable, but the 10 hours my husband invested were well spent.The backboard and drawer bottoms are where the manufacturer cheaped out. The hinges on the drop-table are not well designed, and can damage the back of the cabinet if you aren’t careful. That being said, the result is a real piece of furniture with plenty of well designed space, and an attractive look.So gird your loins! Get ready to struggle with a giant, and come home a hero when you get the job done.

Good Island but Not Easy to Build
My boyfriend and I got this and put it together last weekend. I have to say, putting this together is not for the faint of heart. I recommend doing the following things first before starting to assemble: 1. get a drill (we did everything the first night with a few regular screwdrivers and it took forever so it was a godsend when we bought a drill) 2. read the instructions before you do anything. We didn’t read the instructions first and just drove right in and honestly, we found there were many things that didn’t need to be done in the order presented and found some things were done better if we used our pre-existing knowledge rather than relying on the instructions. Things that we found were difficult: most of the work we did to put together the first few steps on the first day had to be redone on the second after realizing we put things on the wrong way so make sure to double check which side it is supposed to be on or where the holes are. We also had issues with the wheels – ours wasn’t stable when we had all 5 wheels on and was stable with just 4 (not sure if that was an us issue with building it or if we got some faulty stuff). Ours also came scratched on many of the pieces and not all of them were supposed to be on the inside so some of the scratches show. For functionality, the drawers give a lot of space and have enough depth to fit a liquid measuring cup that couldn’t fit in our other drawers. There is a lot of cabinet space and I like that we can also put things in the doors if needed. I do like the color since it goes with a lot of our other furniture. I would also say it is pretty stable and easy to move. I’m not sure if this is an issue of our new wooden floors or the locks, but our wheels don’t really have the ability to lock and stay in place.

Good Value and Flexibility
This is exactly what we were looking for- more storage, breakfast counter, mobility and not too large. Very sturdy. Description is accurate. Instructions were manageable and understandable.

Absolutely LOVE it. The island fits perfectly in the space. Attractive piece and good quality. The assembly directions were a little challenge but once put together it is impressive. I have received compliments on the island from everyone that has seen it and they ask where I purchased it from. Highly recommend for small kitchen spaces!
