Charming and High-Quality Solar Garden Accent
I received this solar lantern and was immediately impressed. The overall quality of the casting looks first-rate and it fit in perfectly with the other solar items in my front landscape.I did have a moment of initial confusion when unboxing it, as the solar panel isn’t immediately obvious, making me wonder if it needed batteries. However, after simply placing it in the garden to charge, it worked perfectly that evening. The illumination is just what I hoped for: the lantern is bright enough to be a charming accent, but it’s clearly meant to make the garden more attractive both day and night, not to light up a path or draw attention from the street.The design is truly lovely—the dog and cat motif is endearing and the casting is very nice. This piece adds real character to the garden.As with any solar-powered garden accent, the big question is longevity. I’m hopeful it will be good for a few years, but even if the light eventually fades, the beautifully crafted little statue will still be an attractive fixture in the garden. This is a highly recommended purchase for anyone looking for a subtle, high-quality, and endearing addition to their outdoor décor.

Very cute, but EXTREMELY LIGHT!
This is just as cute as it can be. It’s so appropriate for our family because we have a yellow Labrador Retriever and a female ginger cat! I was on the fence about sending this back, but ultimately decided to keep it. First, this is extremely light and lightweight. When the box came i didn’t have a clue what it could be as this was going to be heavy (I thought, at least), after all, it’s made from resin! When inspecting this, I figured this HAS to be hollow. There’s no other explanation. Also, I don’t know how this is supposed to be weatherproof. It’s NOT solar-powered or a hybrid of solar & battery. It’s 100% battery-powered. The lantern hanging from the dog’s mouth swings feels and bangs up against the statue itself. In fact, the lantern itself (with batteries installed), weighs MORE than the statue, and it makes the statue want to lean forward! I’ve had to set something up to prevent it from toppling over. This is NOT A DECORATION FOR ALL YEAR use! We’re getting our first snow storm of this season tomorrow, and my husband is bringing it inside! If you’re looking for garden pretties for year round use, I would recommend NOT purchasing this item. This item is a little high maintenance. If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn’t have bought it in the first place.

Cute statue, love the idea. This is very cute, light works well. My only issue is that the lamp already has hard water stains on it which makes it not as clear and vibrant as I’d hoped(did not come that way). I would have to clean it off each time or try and find somewhere still visible but hidden from getting any water on it, which I’d have to move things around and trial and error. Other than the water stain issue I would give it 5 stars, and would purchase more because one isn’t enough cuteness for me.

Cute Realistic and Bright
This dog and cat garden statue has so much detail and is so realistic. It’s very well made. The eyes are beautiful. They are shiny and look like glass. The lantern attachment piece is designed to hang from the mouth. It could be a better quality and design as I am not sure as to the longevity of the lantern staying attached. The lantern has a very bright light. So far it has charged well even charging during cloudy days. This cute dog will really brighten up my flower bed when my asiatic lily’s bloom next spring.

This is a nice addition to my garden to go along with the other gnomes that light up. It looks nice, both during the day and at night. My wife loves it.I’ll be taking it inside soon as the freezing weather approaches. It’s so nice, I don’t want it to get ruined during the winter months.
