Comfortable with Thick Padding
For the money, I don’t think you’ll find a better chair. I went with this based on the positive reviews and my familiarity with the HON brand – they’ve made file cabinets and desks for decades and everything I’ve seen from them has been well built, sturdy, and heavy duty. The chair assembles quickly and easily. A hex wrench is supplied as well as a few spare bolts. The bolts all have Loctite preapplied. The chair rolls easily, has very thick padding on both the seat and back, and is comfortable. I think it will be fine for an 8-hr long work day. The padding is firm and seems higher quality than my Ikea office chair that cost two and a half times as much. I think anyone leaving negative comments is just being unreasonable. You’re not going to find a better chair than this in the same price range.

Very Comfortable and Soft and Perfect for 5’1″
This HON (HVL210) is a Great chair. I got it for my Craft Table. I have back and hip pain, and this is Very Comfortable.It’s firm but at the same time Pillow Soft. The back of the chair feels Exactly the same as the seat, and has Soft yet Real Good Support for your back. You can actually feel all the separate pillows on the seat and the back.Just for info, I’m 5’1″ and 115… I can put my feet flat on the floor at the lowest setting, which is impossible with Most chairs. (anyone who’s 5’1″ knows what I’m talking about) At the highest setting I can use it at my Drafting Table. I’m able to sit in this chair all day.It was easy to put together. 15 minutes. It also has holes already in the bottom if you want to add arms later. Because this chair is so comfortable, I’m ordering the adjustable arms too. Amazon Model # HVL995 HON.

Quality chair for the price.
This is a good chair for the price. Is it as comfortable as one of the $200 tempurpedic chairs at your local office store? No. Does it have all of the options for adjustment that they do? No. But if you’re like me and can’t afford $200 for a chair, this just might be the solution for you. People have asked if this is a sturdy chair, and I can say that I think that it is. I have had people from 120 lbs to 300 lbs sit on this, and they all said they were comfortable. This chair had a wide enough seat for everyone who sat in it, and all of them found it to be sturdy. Several people have talked about how uncomfortable the fabric is. It don’t think it’s that bad, but then, I haven’t been sitting naked on it. I will say that if you have pets in your house, this chair is a pet hair magnet. It was super easy to put together – it took me about 25 minutes, five of which I spent trying to get the aforementioned pet hair off of it. And it rolls – let me tell you! I guess I didn’t realize how hard to it was to roll my old chair. I actually have to be careful that I don’t go rolling off in this thing. I can’t really give you any feedback on adjusting the chair because I don’t like any tilt whatsoever to my chair. For me there were only two real cons with this chair: 1) I’m short, and this is almost too high to have my feet on the floor and 2) there isn’t a great deal of padding on the seat. I think for people of average height, this chair will be just fine if you like to have your feet firmly planted, but for folks under 5’1″ be warned. As for the second issue…well, again, this isn’t a $200 tempurpedic chair. Since I work from home and sit in this chair for 10 hours a day, I expected to use a seat cushion at some point. I suffer from sciatica and this chair hasn’t aggravated it, so that’s a good sign. If I needed another office chair, I would buy this again because I definitely think I will more than get my money’s worth out of it.

Perfect Desk Chair
Loved this chair and great price! It came quickly (as usual) and took me maybe five minutes to assemble; it was super easy! This chair is so comfortable. I’m a college student and I got it for hours of studying at my desk. It’s perfect. The material is very comfortable, soft, and seems like it will stay firm and comfortable for a long time! I was worried the material would be a harsher mesh, which I’ve experienced and have had problems with in the past, but this chair is not like that at all. It is a light, soft, and comfy. The seat is slightly wider than a normal desk chair without arms, which is a positive for me. It’s not a whole lot bigger, just more so than I’ve usually seen. The back support is really good as well. I have a pretty low desk, even though I’m 5’11”, and I have no problems what-so-ever with the height. I don’t have it at it’s lowest setting and it still fits great. Happy as always with amazon and this product 🙂

Durable, but goes flat fast.
I have been using this chair daily while I am using my computer. When new, it is very comfortable and soft providing support for your bottom. However, after daily use, the cushion goes flat rather quickly. You are then sitting on a hard piece of plywood. Mind you, this is to be expected eventually. However, I am a rather light individual at about 135 lbs and this seemed to happen rather prematurely.I will say that the cloth exterior is durable and easy to clean and doesn’t seem to stain. Being black material, it is difficult to stain, but can still be done. It withstand friction and snags and doesn’t seem to tear easily.After about a year of use, I wound up buying a foam cushion to sit on, on top of the seat cushion. This has allowed me to continue to use the chair as it is still in good condition with the exception of a deflated padded seat.For what it is worth, this is a quality chair that will give you years of use. You just need to be prepared to eventually buy a new seat cushion/pad or suffer with sitting on a flat hard surface.

I love my new chair! The box must weigh 30 lb. It’s easy to assemble, and loctite is already applied to the threads so there’s no chance of the chair slowly getting wobbly in the future. I especially like how the back is secured to the base. Some chairs only use one fastener, but this chair uses four for a sturdy attachment. I can see myself being very comfortable sitting in this chair studying for hours at a time. I’m very impressed. There is also a toll-free phone number on the box for additional support.
