Perfect fit for Madaga gazebo
After reading some reviews I was worried this might not fit but it was a perfect fit for our older Madaga gazebo from Target. We didn’t even need to loosen the one side post like the video suggested–it went on without too much trouble. My husband and I were able to get the old one off and the new on in about half an hour or so. I like the lighter canvas color. Our old one was darker brown and I think the lighter one will absorb less heat and stay slightly cooler in the Georgia sun. it seems durable and similar quality to the original one so I’m hoping it will hold up–can’t really speak for the durability just yet.

Too small and Flimsy
Really disappointed. The canopy is too small by about 5 inches and I couldn’t get two corners into their pockets. I tried for over an hour, pulling and tugging and readjusting. It is simply too small. All of the seams are so tight–even though it isn’t even stretched all the way since it is too small–that you can see light coming through the seam stitches. That doesn’t bode well for durability. I can’t pull two of the corners over their poles, and I ordered this too long ago to be able to return it. So I will put in a couple of grommets and tie down those corners. I have re-ordered this same canopy every 2-3 years and they seem to be getting smaller and less durable every time. I don’t expect these things to last through multiple stormy winters and scorching summers. I was fine with ordering a fresh one every few years. But the quality and care in its construction is going downhill fast. Making me wonder if a custom made canopy would be worth it after what a disaster this one is. If I could return it, I would. I am extremely disappointed.

good quality
fit perfectly on my 10×10 gazebo. Although there are holes close to the edges for water to go through when it rains, the water does still pool up along the side so I have to use a broom handle to push it up to get the water off. And maybe its the wind and Georgia rain but everything still gets wet underneath. Overall the fabric quality seems good and durable

Barely fit….quality also declined.
Second time I ordered this replacement canopy. This time is about 1-2 inches too short in all dimensions. Barely stretchable over the small top tier and the bottom one only 3 of 4 pole corners could barely fit. The fourth pole is currently not locked out into place or secured in the corner to allow the canopy to just wrap over the end. The middle pockets can reach on two sides, but are 2 inches short from even getting close to reach on the opposite two sides. We’ll see if this thing can last a whole year stretched out this tight. Needed it assembled because the gazebo is a hay/storage shelter in the winter.

Nice quality
I needed a canopy to fit an older model Madaga Gazebo from Target. The dimensions listed in the Garden Winds site were exact, and it fit perfectly.

Too small & Too Thin
With the Texas heat, I have to replace the canopy every 2 years. This canopy is more expensive than when they were when sold in Target stores, but less expensive than the original manufacturer (SunJoy) replacement. I have purchased replacement canopies from other manufacturers, but this is thinner than any I have installed. This cover lets a lot more sunlight through and the material feels more like a cheap vinyl BBQ cover than a vinyl/cloth cover. On a partly sunny 80 degree day I installed this canopy. No, it is not uncommon to have 80 degree weather in Texas in January.I always remove the screws holding one upper tier leg and one lower tier leg to make it easier to replace the canopy and I have always been able to replace them by myself. This canopy was way too tight to install on my own. I could not exert enough stretching force from a ladder and had to use a heavy table to get enough force to push the lower tier corner to line up with the corner post and had to have someone else push the corner post in and insert the screw. We were finally successful after 5 attempts. Once the lower level was installed, I could see where the pockets were already starting to show the strain. If they are already starting to separate when it is just installed, I don’t see how this will last two years. The top tier was a little tight, but not too bad. When attaching the ties between the two tiers, it was obvious that the ties were too far down on the lower tier. They should be aligned with the netting to keep it flush with the lower tier, but they are a couple inches away causing the netting to pull out.I do find it funny that the manufacturer says to remove the canopy in case of rain. There is no way I am removing this before it fails. I also find it funny that they suggest to apply a protectant and add grommets. If it needs grommets or a protectant, then add them before it is shipped. If you look at the label attached under the lower tier, it tells you not to add the protectant because a coating would change the fire resistant properties. It also states that the canopy will burn and cannot be stopped once it starts. This canopy is currently 2/3 the price of the original manufacturer. If this canopy can last 2 years, then I would be OK with the extra light and extra struggle to install. If it does last two years, I may update this review and add stars. I will not, however buy another from this manufacturer because I would spend the extra money to get better light blocking and easier installation.

Good replacement for the Target Madaga gazebo
Easy to install? Hell no, even having experience doing it twice before. Remember to undo one of the corner poles to get that last corner on, then replace that corner bolt. That goes for the smaller top section, and especially for the larger section. This canopy is extremely tight. Yes- you will need a second person to help you. Durability/Sturdiness? Not as thick as the original Target-sold replacements, so I don’t expect it to last the same 3 years.

Good product. A bit expensive but probably worth it. Fits The Framer perfectly

Great fabric. Unfortunately it did not fit properly and was past return deadline.

This is the third replacement canopy I bought for this gazebo. They last 3 summers on average. The stitching on the corner and side pockets eventually starts to rip through the cheap, thin polyester this canopy is made of at which point it’s ready for the garbage. Canopies used to be made of high quality canvas. I guess everything is just designed to be thrown away as quickly as possible nowadays and replaced. Just a matter of keeping the revenue stream going I guess…Update 20/08/2022The pockets on this third replacement canopy ripped through the thin polyester again after 7 months of use (4 months last summer and 3 months this summer) so I had to order another one again. The price went up 16% as well compared to last year. Just a constant money drain…Kind of funny (but not really) are the supplied care instructions (see photo) : “remove your canope from its frame when expecting harsh weather such as rain (?!)”. So I’m supposed to watch the weather forecast every day and get a ladder out to remove the canope every time there may be some rain coming ? Seriously ? And what about the recommendation to add extra grommet holes to improve water drainage ? How am I supposed to do that ? Shouldn’t they provide more grommet holes in production if drainage could be a problem ? And why would that be a problem if I’m supposed to remove it every time before it rains ? Rain isn’t the issue here by the way, the thin polyester material just becomes completely brittle after a few months of exposure to sunlight. Or should I remove it every time the sun shines as well ?

Fits fine, looks fine. But it didn’t last to end of 3rd summer before worn out and tearing, and full of wear marks. Now it’s scrap.
