Adorable solar dog
This is so cute and I love it in my rock garden outside. It looks like my beagle. The solar part works perfectly. I highly recommend it and I would buy it again. It is adorable.

They are just adorable. I bought them as gifts for friends. Now I want one too. I will order one for me because it would look so cute in my flower garden. I think my friends will be so pleased with them.

Nice but be careful adding the wire hook that holds the light.
It is a nice size and looks great. Be careful. The wire hook the lamp hangs from is separate and you have to slide it through his hand and into a spot on the base. The wire for me did not line up with the base and when I tried to fit the bottom of the wire into the base, his fingers that hold it snapped off. I was able to glue them back on. I had to carefully bend the bottom of the wire a bit until it would align and fit into the base. Otherwise it is just as you see advertised.

So cute!!
Love this little gnome! So far it’s holding up well in the terrible weather we’ve been having and the colors are still bright and vibrant. He was a great addition to the garden with the other gnomes we’ve gotten. It’s not on the large size but for a gnomes it’s perfect. The light has come on every night and other than the little spot that got condensation in it it’s been perfect. Great item for the cost.

Cute by day, worthless by night
While the bulb itself is very bright, the design of the lantern, with the bulb on the bottom, surrounded by the solar panel, almost all light created gets wasted upwards and outwards, sending almost none to illuminate the figure or the ground surrounding it. Forget any nighttime display anything close to the pictures. The figure is well made, but feels a bit light, especially compared to ceramic or cement figures of equal size, and likely to blow over in strong winds. Without this added weight, it is also unstable on any surface that isnt flat and hard, such as in a dirt flowerbed, or on a layer of mulch. Overall, it’s a cute addition during the day, but almost useless at night and as unsteady as a baby giraffe on ice.
