Delighted with this table and the accompanying chairs! Really like the color. Perfect height, excellent stability, smooth table top, feels absolutely solid with a weight to it and very well secured with all the screws provided.Incredibly well packed! Don’t think I’ve ever had a package so well packed, with all the bags, styrofoam, and tape for every single section placed so carefully. Opening it for the first time might be a bit overwhelming, but the only thing that will take some time are attaching the legs and screws of the 2 benches and 2 chairs. Surprisingly easy if you have the time and unwrap all the metal parts and lay them out in order. (Take a minute to make sure everything lays flat and even before completely screwing in and it will be all be perfectly level.) It comes with a tool which made the process a whole lot faster. So glad I didn’t have to deal with an allen wrench. You can tell whoever made the plans put a lot of thought and effort into figuring out how to securely place every thing in one box.Be aware that the box is very heavy so be careful shoving it through the door after UPS drops it off or have a sturdy person on hand to help. The only minor issue was figuring out how the table top pulled apart to add the extension piece. Manual provided was easy to understand – except for that last drawing regarding that part. (In case anyone needs this, on the under side of the table top, just flip the two black tabs up like a light switch to be able to spread the sections. Remember to press back down when you lock, don’t twist it!)Really happy with this 5- piece set. Great price for what you get. The only precaution needed I would think is to not mop the table with a soaking wet rag or to spill drinks on it. It can handle it for a while but may cause issues later on. Would suggest a nice PVC or waterproof tablecloth if you think that might be something you’ll need. Great purchase!

Great cheap table, note the dimensions
Surprised at how many ppl said table smaller than expected, it tells you the dimensions. It is accurate. It is more narrow than maybe most would like, personally it’s plenty for me. Good for apt living or if you have kids. My 3 little ones love it, especially the benches. The box it came in was in shambles, however no damage to table. The box has pieces of board surrounding that say “not for assembly ” they are only there to protect the table. Overall if you read what you are buying and like the look it’s great, very sturdy, easy to assemble. Everything matched up perfect. Ratchet was a nice touch. I would say it’s definitely worth the price, coupon to help pay shipping is great too. Can’t expect something this heavy to have free shipping. And it is heavy, especially with flimsy box you will need help carrying it. I’m a pretty fit guy and wouldn’t recommend carrying it alone

Great, stylish table for small spaces at an incredible price
I bought this dining set to replace an old standard 8-person dining room table and chairs that limited the space in the dining room of my one-bedroom apartment.The package was very heavy and its dimensions were a bit unwieldy, but I probably shouldn’t have been so stubborn as to bring it up to my second-floor unit on my own. It took a few hours to assemble to whole set, but the construction was quite easy; all of the parts and tools were included (with some extra hardware, just in case) and the instructions were clear.Once assembled, I couldn’t be happier with the sleek simple design that can fit any decor. Additionally, being able to store the benches underneath gives you a lot more room when not in use. It’s also lightweight and very easy to move for cleaning around it.The only downside I’ve found is that even the slightest touch of your hand to the surface will leave a visible mark, but it easily wipes away clean afterward. Just be prepared to wipe it down often.If you’re looking for a good table on a budget, this is a great choice!

Fantastic Table!
Absolutely love this table!! First, it was extremely easy to put together, I did it on my own in under an hour. Second, on putting it together, all the screws went in perfectly, often on Amazon items I’ve built you have holes not drilled correctly/or at all sometimes. And then not only does it look really nice, but I was shocked how stable the whole thing is, table and all benches. I don’t leave a lot of reviews, just don’t think about it, but I was so impressed with this table that literally I just finished building it and immediately sat down to write this review for it. Ohh and love that the benches tuck under table nicely, and the leaf is stored under table as well, it’s all nicely contained. Slides nicely on the floor without slipping all over the place. It’s got a good weight to it, light enough to move easily when cleaning or adding the leaf, but has good substance to it, doesn’t feel flimsy. Truly very impressed!!!

It’s ok
It’s a lot I can say about this set, stylist, sturdy, it wasn’t hard to put together. The size is perfect! Just wish it was options on cushions for the benches, and a better way to wipe that top down. It doesn’t matter what I wipe the top down with, it smears and smudges.. I’ve tried just plain water and a paper towel and it just leaves smudges on top of the table and I don’t like that. So I’m trying to find table covers for it. And I’m have a hard time finding affordable flat bench pillows. Wish they came with the set.UPDATE: It’s really hard to keep this surface looking clean. Even what’s playing water is smudges up. I’ll go over it with dry paper towels, and it still has a smudge look. And the seats are kind of uncomfortable, so I’m currently looking for cushions that could fit on the benches..

It was finally time to replace our old kitchen table and this looked like it would save a lot of floor space while also providing the option for more table space when we have visitors or are having a board-game night.It arrived in a single quite heavy pack so be sure to have a couple of people to bring it in. The packaging was good and all the pieces were well protected and nicely labelled which helps with assembly. I thought the ratchet-type Allen Wrench was a bit odd when I first saw it but it turned out to make life easier. I made a couple of mistakes while first putting it together, not noticing which way round the legs on the benches had to attach – check for which holes need to be facing inwards, and the same for the longer bars that support the seat, the curve on the inside edge goes on the outside. Once I knew to look out for them I paid more attention to the instructions and the rest was easy. As always with these sort of assembled furniture, only semi-tighten bolts until it’s all together and square and then do the proper tightening after.The table looks nice and immediately saves us floor space in the dining area but gives us the option to have more table space when we need it (which my wife has already decided is very useful for sewing projects!). The mechanism for sliding out the leaves to fit the extra piece is smooth and easy, and the piece neatly secures underneath the table when not being used.
