A fail on Quality Control – but a win in Customer Service
Update: 5 stars – 12/22If you read the original review, the problem I reported definitely was a quality control manufacturing issue. And while it might have been fixable locally, it ruined the whole experience of buying a new piece of furniture, by being halfway through the assembly process and saying “what now” or “not again”.So why 5 stars??Because the seller went way, way above and beyond. As I said in the first u[date, they were responsive and quick in reaching out to me to ask questions, and offer solutions. I stated to them that I only wanted the seating frame that the stripped bolt fitting was in, but that wasn’t possible as there was no replacement loveseat of the same color to send in warehouse stock, and I would imagine it would be impossible to get just one particular piece, from the factory in China.The Seller instead offered to exchange my faulty beige loveseat with a grey one or upgrade it to an 85″ beige couch. Since this was for an apartment I am setting up for my mother and she chose the beige originally, I opted for the couch. They sent it out via Fedex and it arrived in 5 days. There was no charge for the difference, in the price of the couch or shipping and they said I didn’t have to go through the trouble of packing up and returning the faulty loveseat.That is 5 star customer service!From what I could tell the seller is in California and the furniture is obviously made in China, so the manufacturing is out of their hands and they still took responsibility for the flaw and made things more than right.As far as the new couch goes, all the screw, bolts and fittings were as they should be. It went together fine. The instructions are not great (again not the seller’s fault, they are the typical made for America Chinese schematics, with very little written explanation). Also the back pillows are not as full and firm as they appear in the pictures. I will most likely buy and inset 1″ or 2″ cushion foam to firm them up. The seating cushions are really nice though, with the coil springs in them. You could sit on them all day long and still be comfortable. Overall it is a great looking piece of furniture, very sturdy when assembled, but light weight, so easy to move around. I could see 10 years of use by adults with no problems. If you have kids jumping on them, then you may be tightening screw and bolt connections after a few years, but that’s the nature of this type of construction and kids.I would recommend this couch and loveseat, with the caveat that you may get a flaw, that stops the project dead in it’s track. However, the seller is one of the rare ones on Amazon, that actually cares about the customer and at least in my case did a stellar job resolving the issue.Thank you for the quick and generous solution. It made getting this apartment ready for my mom during a crazy time of year, a success.Update: 2 Stars:I bumped this up to 2 Stars, because the Seller responded to my message via Amazon, about the problem I reported in my original review.They attempted to send out another unit, but were told it could not be located in the warehouse system. This seem true as the loveseat in this size and color shows unavailable online.They did offer to give a 50% discount, if I was willing to try and get it fixed locally. Otherwise they would send shipping labels for the return and refund my purchase price.I did suggest that they could send the same size unit, in the grey color (which shows available) and I would just take the seating frame from that package and send the rest back to them.So the ball is back in their court.I will say this: even though this has caused issues with setting up an apartment for my mother, during the holidays, the Seller has shown great customer service in this situation. If you read my original review, I had no expectation of them doing anything, to try and rectify this situation. So they deserve credit for the effort so far.I will update again and report the final outcome.Original Review: 1 StarWent to assemble this item and found that one of the four fittings in the seating frame, that supports all the weight of anyone sitting on this loveseat, was stripped. The bolt would thread but bottom out and spin and then you could wiggle it back and forth and it would pull out. Not what you want supporting one of the corners of the seating area.Everything else looked good. The packing was actually quite good and well thought out.But without any of these four bolts holding the way that they should, the loveseat is useless.I would settle for them sending me another frame. I don’t need a refund or adjustment. I have a feeling that this company in China that spits out thousands of these units per day, won’t give a crap about a dissatisfied customer in the U.S. an I’ll have to repack and box this thing up to send back.This may have been a one off incidence of bad QC practices, but it only takes one time, to screw up a purchase.I’ll update this if they actually send the part I need, and can eventually use this piece of furniture.

It’s pretty and cool with the side pouches, charging devices but the color is off , instead of beige it’s a white couch .
