Happy with this – assembly takes awhile but worth it for the cost
I’m happy with this cabinet! As others have stated, assembly takes awhile, but the video helps a little- especially with how the locking mechanism needs to be set. The pieces were not warped or dented and all the pieces were there. Only ran into trouble with two screws spinning and not tightening, but luckily it was the smaller ones so I replaced them with larger ones (there were extra included). It’s seems sturdy, the drawers open and close nicely. Be sure to put the back on the drawers first (and make sure all the sides are slid into the side edges – I missed one edge and it was hard to undo and fix because once that back is slid into the drawer it doesn’t budge). They need to do a better job explaining in the directions and video – I have a feeling that people with wobbly drawers missed an edge or two when sliding the back onto the drawer.

Works great, economical, one quirk
Takes some time to assemble, but between the video and the included instructions (which trump the video if there is a difference), it was doable. Helped to have buddy. MUCH less expensive than getting an assembled file cabinet delivered. It is on the small size for a file cabinet, which is fine as long as that is OK.It works very well, drawers open, close, and lock. One problem was sometimes a drawer would jam about 3 inches open. The cause was the black plastic tab on the right side of the outside of a drawer would get just a little out of alignment. I solved this problem by removing those tabs. They would only be needed if your file was facing downhill and you wanted to keep drawers from sliding open, but that was not an issue for my application.

Only Buy if you Enjoy Putting Things Together
This file cabinet is flimsy and you have to put it together! We did not realize that, but there are picture instructions and a video you can watch, without writing or words! It is very lightweight. Once filled, it’s pretty sturdy but on its own a kid could pick it up. I cannot believe Amazon is selling this on their site.

Very Nice
The lock does not work but if you make sure that the cabinets are pressed down accurately on the last step, then the no tilt mechanism works very well and a very great product overall.I was very impressed with the detailed directions and the video guide that helped and as long as you don’t need your cabinet locked then this is perfect.
