Stylish and Durable Pergola
This pergola is very well made and adds a stylish touch to my backyard. The adjustable roof provides excellent shade, and the waterproof curtains are a great feature for rainy days. Assembly took some time but was straightforward with the instructions. The materials feel durable and built to last. Overall, it looks beautiful, functions perfectly, and has made my outdoor space much more enjoyable.

Over all a great product!
I love the pergola. It’s made of quality material and looks great.Putting it together took some time. It went quickly at first because I opened every box, sorted everything and then brought out each step’s material for the guys building it. They didn’t have to look for anything. Things got tricky once they had it standing and had to put the louver mechanism together. And of course it takes some time to put all of the slats in.But it was worth it and I love it!**Update: I want to mention that we’ve had some very high winds recently and the pergola doesn’t move at all!!! The last two days and nights the winds were about 35 mph with 50 mph gust. We were in a wind advisory and everything held up very well! No regrets purchasing this pergola. Love, love, love it.Things to keep in mind:1. If you have it on a concrete patio (or something similar), like I do, the gutter system absolutely works! That’s the good news. The bad news is, when it storms, it drains right into the patio so my rugs and patio get wet/soaked. Keep in mind that all patios have to slant somewhat because that’s what keeps the water from puddling on top of them so I think this is just a given. Not the products fault, of course, but something to keep in mind. Normal rainy days are fine and we’re able to sit out there2. (See pic) I have a patio that is 10×20 ft. This is definitely a bit over that. Don’t think the measurements are correct for the 10ft side on the picture they provided. We’ll have to get some concrete blocks to put the last two bolts into. Also, when putting in the middle bolts on that side, it chipped the concrete because it was close to the edge, so we weren’t able to do so. I think a good foot more than the 10 ft would have done perfectly.I reached out to customer service for a couple of things and they were absolutely wonderful! Very responsive and quick! For that, I won’t take off anything for the slight inaccurate measurements.

Surprisingly good for the price
Large, strong, and pretty sturdy. It seems to withstand the smaller bouts of rain pretty well where most of the rain funneled into the built-in gutter/downspout system. Some parts of the construction process were a little confusing, but nothing too difficult.

Absolutely love this pergola. Looks really good in person just like the photos. Everything about is stunning. I purchased the 10×20 because i have a big backyard and i dont regret it. Originally it was $2200 but amazon PRIME DAY hit and saw it went on sale for $1650. What a deal. At that time there was only 2 reviews so took the risk and just purchased it because you couldn’t beat that sale price for a huge sized pergola.My friend who’s a handyman put this up for me by himself. Took him at least 3 days. A 3 man crew can probably build it in one day, and a 2 man crew can probably do it in 2 days. But you can definitely build it yourself just by reading the instruction booklet or watching the mini video in their description on Amazon. Either way this pergola is quality.I also give customer service 5 stars. The company selling was FengLin Direct. I was missing a box of parts and i reached out to them via amazon app “contact seller” and they got back to me couple hours later and kindly apologized and sent me the missing parts i needed fast. Turn around time was like 4 days via fed ex. Minor set back for me but no stars from my review will be deducted because FengLin Direct helped me out and reached back to me fast and prompt whereas other companies take long to reply back to you about a problem and this company really met my expectations.The louvered roof i love. Easy to turn to open and close. Good to let sunshine in and create shade anytime you want. I created a cozy outdoor space for me and my guests, took an idea from pinterest, and to see your idea in real life come alive, is truly a masterpiece. I bolted down the pergola feet to the cement so its sturdy and highwinds wont be able to demolish it. Its heavy durable quality and doesnt feel cheap at all.I can’t speak for the rain just yet since its still summertime and hot in sunny California, but when rainy season comes, Ill surely update how the pergola is standing and if the roof is durable and if it leaks.Without a doubt, i highly recommend this pergola and company. Awesome awesome awesome customer service. Definitely met my expectations. I attached a video and some photos, to make you think of getting this well worth outdoor pergola for your outdoor needs. Love also how it comes with a mosquito net and curtain. Both are durable and quality which you can zip up and down from the outside and inside with 2 zippers on each end.

Missing screws left structure exposed to rain
I should’ve gotten the motorized one despite it being much more expensie. My package did not include the curtain hooks and they sent them but I also didn’t receive the screws that seal the corners of the roof. I am still waiting on those screws and water has entered numerous times into the exposed structure through the top of each beam. This was professionally installed for $1,400 and now for safety reasons it needs to be uninstalled to drain properly and reinstalled once again which is another installation fee. Definitely would not have had this dumb problem if would have hired professionals to install the motorized pergola. I also had to pay for wired anchors because the size makes it unsteady despite adequate anchoring in each column. I don’t like the aesthetic of the wires which is probably why you never see them on any pictures and they don’t tell you to not discourage you but I was shown how even pool cages have them despite being firmly built into the ground. Now, with all the extra expenses I regret getting this over the real thing, the built in motorized one. I would return this nonsense but I refuse to pay someone to put it in a box and lose more money than I already have.
