    Nice. Huge. Comfy.
Very comfy! Reclines. And yes it does have height adjustment. You just have to put it together correctly. Great for work from home! Great lumbar support, large enough for any size person. And wheels roll well on carpet. Sturdy enough for all your chair needs. Love the leg rest.

Excellent chair design but needs some improvements!
The EXCEBET Big and Tall Executive Chair with Footrest is an excellent chair design but needs some improvements! The biggest issue is the chair tilt mechanism that it comes with. While it is well made, it only has 5 locking positions. Meaning that you are stuck at specific angles that you may find uncomfortable. The standard upright position pushes my body forward over my waist. I do not like that position and find it to be uncomfortable! The first locking position is too far back to be able to sit comfortably and type and etc. at a desk.I ended up needing to search the internet to learn about replacement backrest tilt mechanisms. This chair uses a 6 x 8 inch hole pattern on the seat of the chair to mount the device. This presents a problem because most of the backrest tilt mechanisms that can be found that would mount the bracket for the backrest are 6 x 10 inch hole patterns.I found one site that temporarily had one available in order to get a replacement backrest tilt mechanism that is able to lock at any angle up to 135 degrees. It has a dedicated angle locking handle as well as a dedicated lift handle. As of 11/20/2025, I now see that Skuehod on Amazon has updated their listing to having the 6 x 8 bracket available but there is only one in stock. It is called “Heavy Duty with Adjustment Backrest Tilt Replacement Office Chair Swivel Tilt Control Seat Mechanism.” Upon mounting this mechanism to my chair I found that it was immediately more comfortable of an angle without even being leaned back. I do not know why any chair would come without an independent free locking chair tilt mechanism today. You can see how the tilt mechanism looks mounted on the chair in the pictures I have attached to my review, and the angle that I chose to have it locked in most of the time. It does have a tightness adjustment as well to be easier or harder to rock back.I love the seat armrests! I love how wide they are and the padding and security they provide of being in in the seat and being able to rest my arms and legs against them. I love how they aren’t in the way of me spreading my legs in the front of the seat. I am 5ft 7in tall and weight 160 lbs and I have always found that I needed to go to big and tall executive chairs in order to have a comfortable seat with enough padding and a high enough head rest to rest my head on.The leg rest is amazing because of how far it comes out and the amount of padding. Almost everything on the chair is well built! The spring cushioning on the chair is amazingly comfortable. I am coming from a similar designed executive chair which can be found under the linting listing on Amazon https://a.co/d/d5hdBay. I have always preferred a chair that doesn’t push my shoulder blades forward and this chair is better than the Excebet because of that. If the Excebet back rest center padding came out further that would make this chair so much more comfortable for use! For some reason people like to design furniture that leads to have a hump back and back problems.Another issue that I have is with the headrest cushion. It is not soft enough. It should be as soft as the padding given for the shoulders. Then it would be perfect! Another issue that I have is with the tilt angles of the chair. I preferred the linting chair because the backrest was not coming in contact with and stuck with the seat. The arms rotate with the backrest allowing the arms to stay in a horizontal position more instead of rotating as much vertically up. So, I did not have issues with the armrests coming in contact with the desk because of that fact as well as the armrests being shorter than the Excebet armrests.I did replace the wheels with Sytopia 2 inch wide rubber wheels https://a.co/d/bTCPauV. I wanted to be able to have the seat as low as possible since I am not that tall and I wanted it to be able to roll under my desk. This solution worked for that issue since the arms tilt up when the seat is tilted back and the fact that the armrests padding is so thick, as well as the fact that the armrests extend out so far. While in use at the tilted angle, the armrests can come in contact with the bottom of the desk. The final issue I have is with the lumbar support. It doesn’t have enough lumbar support. A major improvement would be if the chair included and adjustable lumbar support as well. I find that the McKenzie Signature Slimline lumbar support pillow found on Amazon does an amazing job of providing the lumbar support I need while not protruding too far out and interfering with other areas https://a.co/d/9xha1Ix.There is an included lumbar support pillow which is nicely padded, though they made holes for the leather on the backside only instead of the front where people are going to rest their back.Other than these issues above, the chair is a massive improvement in quality, durability, and design over the linting chair and made it completely worth purchasing! The armrest padding on the linting was too thin. They didn’t provide enough surface area to cover all the arm positions. The chair padding was good for the first hour or so, but after many hours sitting in the chair I start to notice the hardness of the seat. I don’t experience this issue with the Excebet.I even like the armrest allen key screw socket covers better because these are designed to be easier to pop off and tighten the chair back up. The chair feels quite sturdy and solid. The leg rests holds itself in place very well and is out of the way when tucked under the chair. The length of the seat to the backrest of 19 inches and 5/8ths is good and comfortable for my size. The coating on the arm rests is pretty good but nowhere near as good as the coating on the chair legs. The chair leg design is excellent and feels comfortable to interact with and doesn’t get in the way! The wheels were able to be easily mounted into the holes while staying securely. My wish is for Excebet to take my feedback into consideration to improve the next generation of this model!

    Home office upgrade
Big and comfy, better support than my old one. Means I can spend long hours at my desk without being stiff and cramped up, so it does exactly what I hoped it would

  5. EagleViewer

    No height adjustment
A very comfortable good quality chairThe only thing I wish this chair had is a height adjustment. It reclines but you don’t have the height adjustment feature .

The chair is bigger than expected for a skinny man like me.

Like everybody else, i did research quite a few choices before plumping for this one. Bought on the strength of the reviews and took advantage of the 30% discounted price that was on offer, and i am not disappoint…it is a really nice chair.I won’t go into details that have already been covered many times with other reviewers, but i shall focus on what my needs were, which were to find a heavy duty chair that could sustain my weight and size, as i am not a small man. I’m 6 foot 6 inches tall, well built and heavy, i weigh 19 stones/ 120 kilos. I’m not a chubby guy, just big and heavy. My last chair was a Songmics one, which served me well for the last 5 years, but the gas strut was going (that was rated to 110 kilos max loading), the PU covering was starting to crack and peel. But, the main issue was the seat base, the cushioning had collapsed and was no longer comfortable to sit in. I realised, given my heavy frame, i needed a proper chunky well padded sprung base, and this one is just that. It is firm, but comfortable, thick and a proper sprung cushion. A lot of office chairs have very thin seat bases, not ideal for long use, which i do, thus I’m hoping this new Execbet chair will go the distance.Lumber support is decent with the stitched in extra cushion, but it’s not intrusive as other chairs appear to be, i find that it’s just right for my lanky frame. Seat back is high enough for my head to rest on it, without the need for an extra aftermarket head rest. My old Songmics one had an adjustable car like headrest, which I rarely ever used. For those of us that vertically inclined as i am, the ‘foot rest’ attachment, if you can call it that (probably for those around 5 ish foot maybe) does support my long legs well, the cushion bit supporting my calfs pretty well. Well padded back support, it looks good, and feels plush. The adjustable arm rests are a nice touch, i was concerned whether this chair would go under my hand made office area (standard height desks are always a bit too low for me), but with the arm rests set in their lowest position, the chair fits under perfectly fine. The padding on the arms is excellent, nice and soft with just the right amount of cushioning.BTW: for those wondering about the upgrade option for replacement rubber wheels & shorter gas strut (for the smaller folks out there), mentioned by some reviewing, as i had noticed; I did wonder where this upgrade option could be found. It is mentioned in the assembly instructions that comes with the chair, with a contact link, if you require them. I didn’t require the upgrade option myself, i don’t need the shorter gas strut and i already had a set of brand new poly wheels to be used on this chair. You get just the standard plastic wheels supplied with this chair, which if you hard floors as i have, then perhaps get the rubber or poly wheels instead. The supplied gas strut’s highest position is perfect for me and my long legs. The instruction are very well printed, clear and easy to follow. One piece of advice that I can give, regarding assembling it, is as follows:It is a heavy chair, but if like me, you intend to assemble it yourself (the instructions do recommend 2 or more people), i found building up the seat base pretty straightforward, but when it came to joining the back piece to the base, i had think outside the box a tad. My solution was, place the base upside down (with arm rests attached) on a table that is just the right height combined for the back piece (upside down) to line up with the metal bracket on the base. It was just a case of using my body weight to push in the back piece inwards until i could see the bolt holes through the base bracket’s slots. Then I could screw the three bolts in finger tight roughly in place. A bit of jiggling about to line everything up and then tighten all the bolts with the supplied Allen key. I was able to flip the chair over onto it’s wheels thereafter…..it is not a light chair!Overall, i am more than happy with it, it IS really comfortable. I can well see how some folks say they could fall asleep in it, it’s that comfy! Build quality looks and feels really good, i hope this one lasts just as long (or longer) than my old one did. It isn’t a cheap chair, but it is well worth the money.

The chair is a little squeaky in the fabric, which can be solved with a bit of fabric conditioner. Otherwise, it’s remarkably comfortable, looks very professional/executive, and has great support in the back and arms. The reclining works nicely, and it’s set very low in centre-of-gravity so I’ve never had it tip over. For the price I paid, you’d be hard pressed to find a better chair. The fabric material can occasionally get a little sweaty, though this isn’t much of a problem with clothes, and is much easier to clean than fabric chairs of the same type (which tend to get very nasty after a year or two)

I’ve given four stars as this is definitely a good quality chair that is well cushioned and pretty comfortable. It looks really nice and expensive too! Assembly was relatively easy – a couple of bits might have been easier with an extra person helping, but I managed on my own!The chair can be adjusted up and down and back and forth in the normal ways, although I would have to say the levers aren’t particularly easy to reach when you are sitting in the chair.I haven’t given it five stars as, aside from the above referenced point about the levers, I just find the chair a bit big and bulky and, in all honesty, I probably would not buy over again. This is probably more to do with it not being fit for my particular purposes rather than the chair itself. I’m mid 40s and using it to work from home 5 days a week. Don’t get me wrong, it will do the job and I am in no desperate urge to replace it, but it’s probably better suited to a younger person using for gaming or for more casual use for those of us rapidly advancing into middle age and beyond.I should say the padded seat area is very large and I’m not sure the chair would suit anyone much shorter than about 5ft 10. I’m dead on 6ft and notice the side. It’s definitely a good solution for taller and larger people.Still, chairs are always about personal preference to a degree, and this is definitely a well made product so would not want to put anyone off buying!

Very difficult to fault after a couple of months ownership for the price.I’m a very large guy (24st) and find this chair comfortable for 8-10 hour days in my home office. The material quality, look and feel is impressive. The size is perfect. It’s a very substantial chair. The footrest is somewhat fragile in feel but not something I’ve used other than testing it.A minor criticism would be that the gas strut doesn’t quite go low enough. It’s about an inch or two too high for occasions when I prefer my legs more stretched out.The spring base hasn’t caused me any issues. Another reviewer commented that they could feel a front bar pressing under their legs when the springs are compressed; I can feel it ever so slightly but it hasn’t caused me any discomfort as the springs feel sufficiently strong. My only reservation is that they may compress more over time, but having left it months before reviewing the chair I’ve yet to experience this.I contracted customer service initially with a query and their speed and courtesy was excellent, so the support appears to be good too.Construction wasn’t the easiest and I’d recommend two people if you want to do it very quickly, but every bolt was perfectly threaded and fitted first time (not my experience with other chairs in the past).I was about to spend £600 on a premium brand chair but took a punt on this and don’t regret it.

Absolutely fantastic chair. Very comfortable. I sit at my PC for very long periods of time and the comfort is on another level. I did get this on a good sale but even at full price i believe this is worth it. Have had it for 6 months now and it isnt even showing a single sign of useage. No cracking or peeling and the arm rests have not gone flat. None of the cushioning has bunched up or moved. It is acting and feeling the same now as the day i got it.The rocking function is great and is something i look for in a chair. The recline is also great along with the footrest but i rarely use that. It is also very spacious and i can comfortably sit cross legged.Overall i think anyone who purchases this will be happy. The only con i can think of is the size, its a large chair but it looks great and to me that isnt a con.
